Rent the Runway came through with this dress! My original rental had some issues so I contacted customer service and they were able to overnight this so it arrived in time for my afternoon event. I wore this to a semi-formal wedding and it was a perfect fit. The dress was true to size and flattered my curves without being too tight or form-fitting. I'm 5'4" and this hit just above the knee, which was perfect for a church wedding. The only downside was that this was a bit of a darker navy than I expected - it looked black in most photos.

I wore this for my engagement photos and loved it. It's very comfortable and easy to move around in. The silhouette is flattering for an athletic figure. Usually Elizabeth and James dresses run small so I rented the 6 and the 8 (I'm usually a 6 and very rarely a 4). I went with the 6, which was a little form fitting, because the 8 was too big in the torso -- just something for my fellow short torso-ed ladies to keep in mind.

I rented this for work and while I liked it, I wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. The dress fit true to size for me with a little extra room in the waist. This was very work appropriate - knee length and not too fitted/figure-hugging. One big downside was that the back of the dress wrinkled a bit throughout the day. Also, the color is more brown (and less eggplant) than it appears in the photos.

I loved the unique pattern of this dress!! Some reviews said this ran small but I found it to be true to size. The fabric has very little give so if you're between sizes, go a size up. Additionally, because the fabric has so little give, if you're large in the bust and/or hips, this may not work for you. The side vents made this easy to walk in. This could easily be dressed up, but I wore it with flats for a casual date night.

I wore this dress to a recent wedding and loved it. I am usually a size 6 (occasionally a 4) so I rented the 6 and the 8. The 6 definitely hugged my figure, but in a flattering and appropriate way. I'm 5'4" and found that the regular length was perfect with 3" heels. This is a simple but classic and elegant gown.

This is a very sexy dress! I rented the small and the medium and felt much more comfortable in the medium. I did feel like the material stretched a little bit throughout the night, so maybe the small would've worked. The color is a little more vibrant than it looks in photos. The only downside of this dress is that it seemed a little worn - the clasp on the extra band in the back was broken, and I would've liked that for a little more security.

I changed into this dress after dinner during my wedding reception because I wanted to wear something I could dance and move around in. It's a great, sleek, basic ivory dress. The fabric is super comfortable with lots of stretch, and the neckline is very flattering. Nude undergarments are necessary for this dress, and shapewear would help since the dress shows every lump and bump (I didn't wear any and felt a little self conscious).

This dress was a perfect fit for my bridal shower -- I received so many compliments! I loved the length and the shape was very flattering. I'm generally a size 6 but sized down to a 4 in this and still had some room in the waist. Since I'm on the shorter side, I was worried the straps would be too long, but they fit great. My shoulders are fairly broad, so if you're narrower up top this may not work for you. I was able to wear a strapless bra without anything showing. This dress was a hard one to send back!

I ordered a 4 and 6 after reading that the dress runs large. The 4 fit well everywhere except in the bust, so I ended up wearing the 6 (which was a little large in the waist but fine overall.) I absolutely LOVED this dress. The design is unique and the pockets were so convenient. Plus, I felt extra elegant wearing a dress Michelle Obama had worn!
