Dressing up a summer dress for a wedding
I wore a solid, green BCBG dress to a friend's wedding, so I wanted a statement necklace to dress up an otherwise simple look. The necklace lays beautifully, and for a large necklace it is quite lightweight and comfortable.

Sparkles for a Winter Wonderland party
It's a fun party dress, but not too dressy for The Bold Italic Winter Wonderland party in San Francisco. I am on the petite side, so the proportions were a little off... a little big in the shoulders and bust (and I'm a D cup), and little long for the waist. It still looked great, but it was not as flattering on me as it could have been.

Garden Wedding Glam
When brand-new I'm sure this was a beautiful dress, worth the $100 to rent. I'm realizing that dresses with delicate fabrics aren't the best choice from RTR, as this one was showing its wear. I couldn't button the chiffon layer because the loops were too small. It wrinkles easily. Once a dress has been used as much as this one has, I think RTR should reduce the cost to rent or take it out of rotation. However, it is a gorgeous dress, and the flowing skirt is a lot of fun! (The 0R was too long for me, though I wore flats.) I wore my Nubra with it and felt comfortable and secure all night. It made a statement, but I would have felt more comfortable in a different dress, and I wish I hadn't spent as much $ on this one.

A BIG statement
Beautiful earrings, but they are VERY large. I am petite, and they were a bit too much of a statement for the event, so I couldn't wear them. A $40 risk that didn't work out.

Backless dress confidence
Easy to apply, adhesive sticks & stays, very supportive, and great push up shape. I was skeptical ordering by cup size because that is proportional to chest measurement, but it worked.

A fun dress for a fun wedding!
This dress is a lot of fun and gets a lot of attention! I purchased my first Nubra for this dress, and it worked out great. There is no support in the dress, so busty girls won't be able to go braless. Even though the dress is fabulous, I didn't feel as confident as I normally do in my RTR dresses. The design is not best suited for curvy, hourglass, or pear-shapes because the skirt is rather slim. I still wore my usual size, 0, instead of going up a size because the shoulders fit best on the 0, and that was more important for the dress to work. The fabric is rather thin and delicate, but fortunately the print hides any imperfections you may feel insecure about. Of course, you must feel rather confident about your back! While dancing the already short skirt rides up, and the shoulders can fall off. I wore it J.Crew hot pink suede almond-toe pumps and no other accessories.

BoHo Statement
I've now rented this necklace twice I like it so much. It looks more like a Phoenix than an eagle, so it inspired the comment, "rising from the ashes of my 20's," at my 30th birthday party. I'll also wear it to dress up a brunch outfit before returning it.

Classy, with a bit of intrigue
Since RTR had a Memorial Day promo, I got this dress for a Friday night date: dinner and "Sleep No More" in NYC. I loved that the dress is quite classy, with a bit of intrigue. The cutouts are just right -- I could wear a regular black bra with it (would have been even better with tape). I am on the curvier side of XS/0 and went up a size, but then couldn't go braless. This dress will not look good if it looks too tight! It was really fun to wear with a mask, but it does ride up a bit running up and down stairs. A dress to make a night just a little more fun.

Feeling 30 & Fabulous
I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party -- cocktails & dancing at the Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco -- because it was body con, interesting, flirty and sexy. Since I'm on the curvier side of XS, I did have to go up a size because it is very tight. The thick dress fabric, along with Spanx, gave me a great shape all night, though it will flatten a bustier girl a bit. The dress is short, so be careful with Spanx peaking out. I paired it with the Kendra Scott Fenton Eagle Necklace. Even strangers were complimenting me, and I regret not getting any pictures of the night!
