I ordered a size 0 and size 2. There wasn't much difference to me between the two, although the size 2 felt a little tighter in the shoulder area, perhaps because the lace hadn't been worn by as many people as the size 0. Wore for an outdoor wedding, but would be great for a more formal wedding as well. The magenta color was beautiful and the lace made for a romantic look. Would rent again

I wore this dress to a spring outdoor wedding. The material was lightweight and worked well for the outdoor event. The dress was very nice, but the coloring made it more of a daytime dress rather than a formal event dress. The fit is like most Lily dresses- a bit smaller in the ribcage that made breathing a little tight, but nothing that made it too uncomfortable. The waist area fit fine though, so nothing about the ribcage fit made me want to move up a size.

I rented both the 0 and the 2 and since I had lost a little weight before the wedding I figured the 0 would work well. For the most part the 0 was fine except for in the ribcage area. There is a slight line between the top and skirt portion that unfortunately hit at just the right spot in my ribcage that made zipping the size 0 very difficult and I had trouble breathing. Without a bra it was fine, but since I have a smaller bust and the dress is somewhat lower cut, I didn't feel comfortable utilizing that option. As described in the other reviews, the sleeves did fall down and were essentially more decorative than actually used to hold up the dress. I was able to pull the sleeves up a bit higher on my shoulders with the 2, which stopped them from perpetually slipping, but didn't completely eliminate some minor slipping. Nothing that fashion tape wouldn't fix. U actually used the piece of string that is tied to both sleeves to keep them in place, although if you don't have long hair like I do or are wearing an updo, I would skip tying them together and opt for fashion tape. Although the size 0 I received didn't have the string, so maybe get some fashion tape as backup either way. Those would be my only "complaints" although I gladly would put up with fashion tape to wear this dress. It was beautiful and the color of the yellow was perfect for a spring wedding. It was easy to move in and comfortable, and the lace detailing was very nice. Overall it was a stunning dress and I received many compliments. I didn't even accessorize it that much because it stood out enough on its own. I chose large chandelier earrings and opted for no necklace and tan pumps and it worked well.

I read the reviews that cautioned about the dress's formfitting style, and they were all true to form. While the P had a tighter fit, it was the shorter length that made me opt for the larger size. This dress is great because with the right accessories it can really be a show stopper. I wore this to a backyard wedding, a tad dressier than some of the other guests, but not to the point where I felt out of place. And frankly it was so pretty and comfortable I didn't really care what anyone else was wearing, but those attending a more casual ceremony may want to select something else. This was also my first time using the RTRPro and I loved it! It was so wonderful having free shipping and handling, and cant wait to rent another dress because of it. Thanks RTR!

I ordered this dress for an outdoor wedding. The bride described the dress code as "fancy picnic" so the style of the dress was perfect. It flared out from the waist which made it less of a formal feel than some of the other tighter fitting dresses I was looking at. The color was beatuiful, it was the type of yellow where with the right accessories you could still pull it off for a fall wedding but definetly a hit for a summer type event. My only complain was the dress ran a tad on the bigger size, I ordered a size 4 and I am 5 foot 6 inches and 120 lbs and I easily had at least 1 inch of fabric that I could collect with my hands on the left and right side of the dress. And because of the open back (which was gorgeous) it meant the sleeves also slid down. I was considering belting it, but because of the straps constantly falling I opted against wearing the 4. I called RTR and a 2 wasnt available but the girl on the phone was SOOOOOO helpful she offered to send a NEW dress my way and helped give me advice on which one to select as an alternative and search for a dress in my size. As much as I loved both dresses I got, the customer service is what will make me a repeat customer they were so helpful in making sure I had an outfit for my event and made the whole process as stress free as being out of town with a dress that doesnt fit can be.
