The only strange part of the dress was that the hook closure was backwards according to my spouse? I think the fit would have been better if I wore a 14. Felt quite cinched in the waist. The bodice is quite long but I have a short torso! My biggest surprise with the dress is that the entire skirt was textured which I did not notice in photos. My friend said it was like a curtain.

Cons: the slip underneath wasn’t long enough for my liking. My choosing of a longer dress means I want a longer fit.. not a tight slip gripping around my bottom. The fit of the medium was a little tight(though I was on my period) but the large had too much fabric in the bodice to wear bra less.

I loved this dress. As most reviews said, I sized down to a 2 rather than my usual 4. The 2 was perfect! I wore without a bra, and it stayed up during a WHOLE night while dancing. I wore these with the RJ GRAZIANO Crystal Thorn Drop Earrings! I felt perfect all night and was not bothered at all that I was wearing a rented dress, though I wanted to keep it! Return process was so easy.
