I rented this as a backup and ended up wearing it to my event. It fit me perfectly and was really elegant but different. I loved the all over lace. The open back was sexy but not scandalous. I wish I could have kept it! I will definitely rent this again.

I rented this dress to wear to a charity ball. It arrived brand new with tags. Unfortunately, I was unable to wear it. It was too long on my 5'2" frame and the chest was too large - it was gaping and my bra was poking out. This was surprising as I'm currently breastfeeding so I'm much larger on top than normal. It was really a funky dress and I would have loved to wear it if it had fit better. I never have issues with DVF fitting properly but this one just seemed to run differently than I'm used to.

I rented this dress for a work holiday party and it was beautiful, I received a ton of compliments. The lace and bright red color were festive and looked great with a pair of nude pumps. I am in my first trimester of pregnancy and it also complimented my changing body by emphasizing my waist and not my expanding hips :-) I could see this dress being bump friendly well into the second trimester. I normally wear a 0 in DVF and while I probably could have squeezed into it, I went with my back up size 2 to accommodate my "new" bust and hips. The 2 was a perfect fit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dress!

I ended up receiving this dress when an alternate dress from the same designer was unavailable at the last minute. I absolutely loved it and wish I could have kept it! The slight A-line skirt was flattering and the scalloped edges added a little extra interest to the dress. Herve Leger dresses are always skin tight (they kind of act like a full body Spanx) so size up. The XS wouldn't fit over my hips (size 25 waist, 35 inch hips). The small was snug in the right way. I felt like a million bucks!

I ended up grabbing this dress at the RTR in Las Vegas (which is an awesome place with super helpful stylists!) and wore it the same night out for dinner and a show. I loved the fit! My measurements are 32-25-35 and the XS fit perfectly. It was a little short but it was appropriate for Vegas. The colors are gorgeous and the stretchy, scuba-like material was surprisingly light. I might rent the same dress again for some events this summer. It definitely made a statement!

I have to be honest - I have previously rented this dress in black for a winter wedding and when I saw it in this fun turquoise color, I knew I had to rent it again. It is classy and fun, the perfect wedding guest dress. Material felt and looked expensive, length was perfect on my petite frame, color is amazing. I wore it with my own gold sparkle belt, with matching heels, and that is all the dress really needed - it really stood out on its own. I liked that it had a little wiggle room in its shape for dancing and eating. At this point, I probably need to just go out and buy this dress! It's too pretty to have to keep sending back to RTR :-)

I was really excited to wear this dress for a friend's wedding but when it came, it was way too large in the top to wear. The straps kept falling off my shoulders and there was no way to keep the bust flush with my body - there was a huge gap. I had rented a back up size 2 because I was concerned from other reviewers that the dress would be too small and was confused when the 0 arrived and didn't fit -- I double checked the tag as I was positive it had to be the wrong size. I also wasn't crazy about the material - the lining is a scratchy, synthetic material that reminded me of a bad bridesmaid dress. On the bright side, the waist and hips fit perfectly and the color and length were great. I love RTR but this dress just wasn't a winner for me.

This was my back up dress but, sadly, when my first dress didn't work out my back up didn't provide any help! This dress was too tight in the hips - it fit but it was a struggle to put on - and it lacks a zipper to make it easier to pull on and off. The top, on the other hand, was too large and the wrap portion wouldn't stay closed. It would definitely need to be taped or pinned if I had worn it. The length of the short skirt paired with the billowy top portion just made my body look weird and disproportional. My husband said it looked like something Snooki would wear and I don't take that as a compliment! I'm not familiar with this designer and took a risk in renting it that ultimately didn't pay off. RTR is always great and was super helpful with my return. I'll continue to rent - I just won't go back to this dress or its designer.

The open back was too tight, making me look like I had a chubby back (and I don't think I do!). RTR has made me obsessed with Halston Heritage dresses and this one was my *third* rental from the designer and I am such a fan. I wore this for my own birthday party and got lots of compliments and felt super cute in it all night long. The top is very fitted and the flare of the skirt isn't too much. Length and overall fit were perfect. It looked cute with big earrings but you could also rock a great necklace with it. I wore this dress for my birthday brunch and I loved it. It was sweet and girly. My only complaint was that it was a little large in the top for me but noticeable only to me. I threw a black cardigan on over it with black pumps and it was the perfect fall outfit that I could have easily worn out that night too. Length was great and the rest of the fit was perfect also. Would definitely recommend!

This dress was PERFECT! The material is very high end- not scratchy at all - and fit very well. It is a shift dress so if you are going for a more fitted look, you can easily put a belt on over it. I put a nude colored belt and nude pumps on with it and it was adorable. The length was great for my 5'2" frame. I received compliments on it all night and I'm already trying to find an occasion so I can rent this dress *again*. Thanks RTR!

I have done the Stylist Surprise twice now and have been very happy with both times. Each time I received earrings that would have cost more than the $15 fee I paid to rent them. The earrings have looked great with the dresses I rented. It is fun to have someone else pick out your accessories for you, it feels like a little treat when your surprise jewelry arrives. i would definitely recommend giving this a try!

This was a great dress! I wore it for a fancy wedding anniversary dinner with my husband and it was exactly what I wanted - classy and a little sexy. It fit perfectly and I really liked the versatility of the sleeves - you can wear them up, down (like the model) or one up and down (like I did) for a little modern twist. The material was really nice and length was great. I would definitely recommend this dress, I was thrilled with it and felt great in it all night long.

This dress fit perfectly and looked fabulous. I wore it for a wedding and it was perfect "cocktail attire". I was receiving compliments all night! It definitely gives the illusion of curves with all of the draping, so if you're already curvaceous and don't want to highlight that aspect of your body, this dress isn't for you. If you're petite (like me) and want to pretend like you have Kim Kardashian's tush for evening, you will love this dress. It was a little longer on me than it is on the model but it still hit above the knee - the perfect length for dancing. This dress made me a lover of Halston Heritage & RTR!

Received these as part of the "Stylist Surprise". Looked great with the dress and with my hair worn up. They were clip on and extremely heavy though, I was conscious of them all evening because I could feel them weighing on my ears. I also think they are made of nickel as I had a small allergic reaction to them. I couldn't keep them on all night but for the amount I paid for them, I still think it was worth it.

This was my back up dress for a wedding and, full disclosure, I didn't wear it beyond trying it on. I don't think this dress is for a petite woman - the sequins completely swallowed me and it was a little too "bling" for a wedding. It didn't fit perfectly - the sleeves were a little baggy, it didn't hug my figure the way I would have liked. It was very well made and comfortable though, and in the right environment (a trip to Vegas, maybe?) it would be a fabulous dress.
