I felt amazing in this dress-- it snatches you in so you are smooth and looking thin! I have recently lost a bunch of weight and this was totally out of my comfort zone in being so tight, but the dress gave me confidence! The plan was to wear it on my 30th birthday, but after putting it on, my fiance suggested I wear something less dressy (this was a good move on his part-- I would have been too dressed up!) I would absolutely rent this dress again. The hips are a little big, and the waist runs pretty small, so it's best for pear shaped folks, but it still worked on me who is, at the moment, like a wood plank with no discernable waist. The zipper is pretty tough at the top, even when I wasn't in the dress. I did not need a bra, either! Definitely worth trying!

The pattern was stunning-- not too busy and really lovely colors, but the neckline was a little strange. I could have worn the XS but that felt a bit too short to wear with heels so I went with the more flowy size small. The top made me feel a little broad, but I still really liked the dress overall.

I wore this to my 10 year high school reunion and it was perfect! The invitation described the event as casual but it was taking place in a modern hotel bar downtown, so I wanted to be a little dressy without being over the top. The fit was incredibly flattering-- I got so many compliments! I could have dressed it up more or styled it differently for pretty much any occasion. I was really sad to have to return it after the event!

Based on reviews, I ordered a 2 and 4, but probably should have ordered a 4 and 6 (I'm generally a 4 or a 6). The 4 zipped, but was very snug on the chest, even though I am small chested, and would not have been comfortable for dancing, especially as the day the event fell on turned out to be VERY hot. I would probably rent this dress again, however, in the size 6 for a late fall or early spring wedding or event. Gorgeous dress, overall!

I loved the pattern and soft blush color, but was a little nervous that the blush would appear white under certain lighting, as I was a guest at a wedding. I think the color is fine in person, but the dress does look white in some of the photos from the event. I loved how light and airy the dress was, but the arm holes made me have a bit of an underarm roll depending on my arm position/posture-- which I was fairly self-conscious about. The lining wrinkled quickly (it was a very hot day), but you couldn't tell because of the flare of the skirt. The dress was perfect for dancing, and the rental process was SO smooth. I would definitely use Rent the Runway again.
