Not too heavy but not light, a bit uncomfortable for sensitive ears but no regrets, were perfect for a rental!

I absolutely loved this dress! It felt very old Hollywood and glamorous to wear.
Very true size 4, although the the top ran a smudge small, if you go sans strapless it is fine. A bit hard to zip and snug around the waist, it fit the hip perfectly and is not right on the stomach area which I like! Super flattering.
