Loved this dress. Agree with other reviews about the arms being snug, but it wasn't uncomfortable by any means. This was a classically elegant dress. It's feminine, pretty and extremely flattering. I received a lot of compliments and may tear up a little when i ship this back.

At first I was nervous about the length. I'm 5'-2" so in the end it wasn't as short on me as it might be on others, but at 42 I still wasn't sure I could pull off the shorter length. Once I paired it with jet black hosiery and black suede booties, I felt really confident and ready to hit the town. The cut is really flattering and if you have nice legs it really showcases them. My hubby and several of my friends were big fans. I received a lot of compliments and would absolutely rent this again.

I selected these earrings to pair with the Kenneth Jay Lane crystal Melissa Necklace and Badgley Mischka Go Out with A Bang Cocktail Dress which I also rented (shown). These earrings turned out to be the perfect mate for the necklace; they looked like they were made to go together. I liked that they were not too heavy. They had posts with the supportive acrylic back so they sat nicely on the lobe. They dangled, bt maintained their position and did not twist backward. So incredibly happy with these choices and I received so many compliments. This was my first time renting the runway... and I cannot wait to do it again.

So happy with this choice. Honestly, I would have bought this if I could have. It laid perfectly, did not shift, had a nice weight to it without being heavy or cumbersome. It brought brightness to my face without being too flashy. And it absolutely enhanced the Badgley Mischka Go Out With a Bang cocktail dress that I rented and brought it to the next level for my formal affair. I paired it with Slate + Willow Crystal Direction Drop Earrings that I also rented and they looked like they were meant to go together as a set. Absolutely gorgeous!

I reserved a M and L because I have an hourglass figure and hate when clothes pull and span across my hips or chest. I tried on both sizes and they were equally tricky to get on. It definitely takes time and patience. Thought I would be a large, and started there, but once it was zippered it looked baggy in the bodice, too wide in the shoulders, and a tad too long. The M fit like it was custom fitted to my measurements without being tight. Honestly, I expected a beautiful dress, but this experience exceeded all of my expectations. The dress was elegant and had good structure to it, but at the same time it was extremely comfortable to sit, move and dance in all night long. My husband LOVED it and I received compliments from friends and strangers all night long. I looked at photos of this dress from many other reviewers to decide on how to style it. I rented the Kenneth Jay Lane Melissa Necklace and the Slate + Willow Crystal Direction Drop Earrings (which honestly looked like a set). I wore jet black hose and simple black pumps. This was my very first RTR experience and I will definitely be doing it again. Thanks for making this mom feel like a million dollar diamond. I will be back!
