As everyone has noted, this is much more of a "true shift" than a lot of the similar styles on RTR. Don't expect it to nip in at all at the waist; it's more flapper-ish, skimming around your body. (So, it's not exactly that it runs *really* big, though it does run a bit large; it's that the dress WANTS to fit you looser than other dresses. Either roll with it, or grab a belt!) The lace is soft and lovely, the slip creamier than the photo. SUPER comfortable, adorable with tights, generally an amazing dress for winter.

This was my back-up, and I loved it even though my first choice was better suited to the occasion. The deep purple is gorgeous, and the bib detail is super flattering for girls with hips! I was so impressed with its condition (I thought perhaps the fabric might show wear or pulls more easily than other rtr dresses), I'm scheming about other places to wear it.

The bracelet is a no-brainer for wedding jewelry! Classic, sparkly without being super bling-y, simple. My dress was very lacy, and I didn't want to overwhelm by adding a ton of jewelry too; this was perfect. As other reviewers noted, it's especially great for those of us with tiny wrists, as it isn't too large in diameter. (Sorry the picture doesn't feature it better, but at least you can see it with the matching earrings!)

I rented a 6 and an 8, and while the 8 was a tad big on top, the bottom sat a little better. If you have fuller hips, the skirt will "pouf" out a bit more at your waist, and I wanted to cut down on that a bit. The color and lace are very beautiful (tons of compliments at my rehearsal dinner), and the lace is only a teeny bit scratchy on your arms over the course of the night. The shine of the dress makes it easy to stick with fairly minimal, classic jewelry.

Wore this dress for a couples' shower thrown by friends, and I really liked it. It's not too on the nose, but still has the lace and cream vibe you might want for a shower or rehearsal dinner. The fit was easy and true to size, and you can wear a standard bra. The only thing to think about is length: I'm on the short side and I still had to keep my jacket draped "casually" across my lap while opening presents, just to be on the safe side. Overall, it's cute and bright without looking like you're trying too hard! (Accessories: totally loved it with the Teardrop Pearl Earrings by Nicole Miller. Anything vintage-y and not too bling-y would be great, though.)

Loved, loved, loved these. They're a bit less formal (or at least more understated with the sparkliness) than the photo might suggest, which was great for our couples' shower. You can EASILY dress them down (so you'll get a ton of wear out of them in 4 days even if you only have one big event planned)--plus, they're super lightweight and just the right length to show off your neck without being overwhelming.

I rented this for my summer bachelorette party, and it had to go from day to evening as a result. With its fun, nautical front and its bright, low back, it did that with ease! Fellow pears, especially those between sizes, may wonder about how the open back will work for them: the material, of course, has no give, so size for your hips and, should the back have a bit too much material for you, it's easy to pin the back strap to your standard bra to prevent gaping. Another plus: despite the thinnish material, it didn't wrinkle at all during our long, leisurely dinner. Overall a totally comfortable and flirty choice!
