The zipper is difficult to zip up (as so many are). Definitely size up for your backup size.

This dress was stunning. It's eye catching, flirty, (short!) and flattering. I didn't have any issues with sequins rubbing under my arms. I wore the L which fit great and was comfy.

This dress rocked!
This dress rocked. I wore it for a cocktail party before a wedding. It's conservative on top with the long sleeves, and the shortness of the skirt makes it fun and flirty. It does run slightly small. I wore the large and it fit pretty snug. The other reviews are correct in that you need pretty skinny arms to fit the sleeves. The fabric is thick so it can heat up if you're not careful. I wish I could keep this one!!

This dress is really beautiful. I was surprised by the texture of the flowers. They are not just a print in the fabric. They are slightly raised. They resemble paintbrush strokes; they're really pretty. I had the size 6 on at first, and it fit like a glove, until I ate. Then the waist line got snug pretty fast. I ended up wearing the Size 8 to the wedding so that I had more room to move. The waist line definitely fits small for the size of dress. There was pretty generous room in the hips. The only con was that the pleats in the back of the dress make your butt look kinda big.

This dress rocked a Gatsby-themed charity event.
This dress was terrific for a Gatsby-themed charity party I attended. It was fun, fit well, was comfortable, and so showy! I rented the 6 with the 8 as a backup, and wore the 6.

Perfect dress for a Gatsby-themed gala.
This dress was perfect for the 20's/Gatsby-themed gala I attended. The pattern and sequins were perfect for the theme. It was comfortable and fit great. It's a little narrow at the bottom so you won't be able to walk fast or take long strides. I wore the 8R (the long was too long). The 8R touched the top of my foot and was perfect with the 3-in heels I wore. The Long would have drug on the floor even with very tall heels. If you're 5'8" and under I definitely recommend going with the Regular length.

This dress was stunning and absolutely perfect for the spring wedding I attended.
I wear a size 6 and this fit perfectly. The long was also just perfect. I wore an approx. 2-3-in heel and the back of the dress (which is longer than the front) was just barely touching the floor, but not enough for someone to step on the dress while dancing. The front of the dress was about ankle height. It was comfortable and HAS POCKETS!!!! I got so many compliments.

This dress was gorgeous; perfect for the occasion.
I wore this dress to a wedding. The color is amazing, and it's a dark green so it's not too flashy. I got so many complements. I ordered a size 8R and a 6R. The size 6-regular fit so well, I'm 5' 7.5" tall, and in the front, the bottom of the dress touched the top of my feet. I wore approximately 2.5" heels so that the back of the dress (which is longer) just barely touched the ground. The size 6-long would have been too long, and would have gotten stepped on for sure all night, so the regular length was a great choice. Wonderful sparkle; flattering fit; comfortable. Like other reviews say, the sequins did start to rub just below my underarms. It was uncomfortable by the end of the event, however, I would definitely rent this again.

Everyone loved this dress!
This dress was absolutely beautiful. I was worried at first, thinking it kinda looked like fancy lingerie, but I was wearing it for New Years Eve and decided to just go for it. It fit very true to size. I called and asked RTR if they had the next size up (an 8) that they could overnight me, but they didn't, so I wore the 6 (with spanx under it). I felt like it slipped down a bit, so I had to frequently pull it up and make sure the top of my bra was covered, but other than that, I was awesome! I would rent this again.

This dress is really pretty and fun.
I'm a size 4/6, and barely squeezed into the size 8. A size 10 would have been perfect. So, to say that this dress runs small is an understatement. The long was just right for my height. It does run small in the waist and chest. If you have a large chest, you may not want to choose this dress. (I rented this dress previous to this last time it was sent to me, and then it arrived with SEVERAL tears in the skirt in the back, along the zipper, and around the bottom. Thank goodness it's hard to notice due to the type of fabric. It's a bit beat up. This current time I wore a sequin dress instead of this one. Didn't check to see if it had been repaired somehow).

So many people said the LOVED the dress!
Fits true to size. The medium and small fit nearly the same. I wore the small because it was a little more fitted and shorter. Absolutely stunning dress! You definitely need skinny arms to wear this dress. Arm movement is slightly limited when, say, you try to reach up to do your hair. Definitely do that before putting this dress on.
