I am somewhere between sizes 8 and 10. This was my backup dress when my original pick became unavailable in the 10. What a great relief this dress was as amazing as it is! Pros: --FIT! Forgiving, slightly stretchy material masks bumps and undergarment lines pretty much camouflaged. Blue part is lined. --Higher-in-front hemline provides some airflow and foot movement when getting down on the dance floor --Elegant and perfectly suited for the very upscale black-tie wedding I attended --Color is AWESOME --8L the perfect length for me Cons: --slightly large in the bust area, and I am a 34DD(D), so that was unexpected. --Cannot be worn with a regular or strapless bra. I didn't wear a bra, and it was passable, though I didn't feel as supported/strapped in as I usually like (see above comments about getting down on the dance floor). I would recommend sizing down if you are smaller chested. Does show some cleavage. --The fabric is thick and gets warm, especially since it is fitted through the hips. --Started to show some sweat come through, very faintly. It wasn't noticeable in the dark, but I could see it in the bathroom (knowing where to look). It was a warm night, outdoor wedding, an INCREDIBLE band (and getting down on the dance floor). You wouldn't have a problem on a cool night, or in A/C, or at a less active event.

Elegant, comfortable, flattering. I recommend wearing some statement jewelry, as the dress bodice is plain. Fabric hides imperfections and accentuates the good stuff! I am 34DD(D) bust. My two main considerations for what to wear to wedding: what kind of chest support can I get and will I be able to move in it? I like to hit the dance floor hard! I was able to wear a strapless bra for support and the full skirt allows for free movement on the dance floor. Only drawback was that the item I rented already had a rip in the neckline. It didn't look ragged, but it did cause the neckline to have an asymmetrical effect, visible in my photo on my right collarbone area. I am fairly tall (5'9" and some change)and wore 4" heels, so would have liked the L, but the R was fine.

Loved wearing this! Lovely slimming shape, elegant in front with a sexy open back! Wore for a black-tie wedding. Being larger chested, I was able to wear this with just pasties and the dress had some support. The fabric is lightweight, and the slit in back allowed for ventilation while I was gettin down on the dance floor. Only complaint would be that I was between sizes-- the 12L was a bit large in the bust/straps (unusual for me!) but the 10 was slightly snug near zipper. In retrospect, would have gone down to 10L.

This was my back up dress. I ordered the 10L, but was still a little large. Perfect length though. I ended up selecting a different dress for the event due to this being a little big and needing a little more breast support, especially knowing I'd be on the dance floor 99% of the reception. This dress is simple, elegant and conservative in front, but the back is where the drama is! Gorgeous pleated draping on the V-back, and has somewhat of a train. However, this draping does come with a small price: the dress has a lot of fabric and might get hot if wearing in warm weather. Cons: runs a bit big, if lager chested may need more support, and has a LOT of fabric which may get heavy if wearing in warm weather.
