Pockets hit my hips weird don't bulged out some but I still liked it!

I sized up and am glad I did. The shirt length is short and the seam around the waist would have been too small at my natural waist.

The sleeves were wide set. It fit nice in the chest and through the middle, but unless I was going to tuck it in, it wasn't wide enough along the bottom seam, so I would have had to wear it tucked in to hide it being tight around my hips. I do have wider hips, but would suggest sizing up if you aren't planning on tucking it in.

Loved them so much I bought them!
I ordered these for a work trip and loved them!l so much i purchased them. They are comfortable and stylish. They are the perfect length to wear with ankle strap heels or a nice heeled boot. I am 5'9 and the pants hit right above my ankle. The fabric is thick and has enough stretch to fit nicely Over my hips and butt. The fabric quality makes these pants looks nicer than my other j.crew dress pants. Definitely recommend these!

Awkward fit - did not wear
This dress runs small, especially if you have hips/a butt. The angled fabric pieces cut my body weird and overall it was too small, so it didn't flare out like it does on the model. If you are straight and narrow this dress would look nice. You could also size up because the fabric is stretchy to make sure it hits correctly!

Beautiful dress - will rent again
I loved this dress! The colors are so pretty and vivid in person. The gathering of the fabric on the front makes it feel more like a wrap dress that helped conceal me stomach and love handles. It was short but not too short on me and I am 5'9. I will definitely rent again for future events.

Cute dress for the summer!
I rented this to go to dinner with friends and really loved the cut and style. If you have a larger bust (I do) the clasp on the front isn't work, but the fabric folded nicely to hide the clasp and i wore it more open. The stretch on the back was fully stretched in a 16 (largest size) so I wore a jacket over it and got tons of compliments! It's also a good length. I am 5'9 with a long torso and it hit mid thigh, but closer to my knee. Definitely recommend and will most likely rent again!

Size down - maybe even 2 sizes!
Fabric is great - but bust hangs really low. The straps need to be shorter by about 2 inches to pull up the bust and prevent the back from falling open. I am going to try and tape/pin the straps and see if I like it. It not, there is enough fabric through the front and the pants that I should be able to size down again and see if that is any better! I know reviews said the chest is gaping... I think being a size 16 and having a bra 38 D, that I will be covered once I take the straps up! I do think again that there is enough fabric to size down and still be covered up top!

Small - size up even if your waist is small!
The dress is absolutely beautiful! The silk is smooth and the length is great! I love how the sleeves are loose without making me look a genie in a bottle! BUT... the wrap around the waist was too small. I am normally a 16/XL and sometimes size up when I know something runs small through hips, but because this was a wrap and loose in the hips I sized up. When I went to tie the front bottom layer piece to my hip, it barely made it across the front of me. And same when I pulled the front piece across to tie to the opposite side. I'm going to try and size up 2 sizes (if possible) but definitely recommend sizing up!
