This is the second time I have rented this dress. The first was for a wedding, back in the beforetimes, and this time was for my own engagement photo shoot. In both cases, I was looking for something flattering that could be worn alone or layered if it was a little colder. The dress photographed well, especially on a cloudy day, and I loved that it didn't need a lot in terms of accessories. I generally wear a 6 and found that the 4 fit a little better, so it might run a tiny bit big.

I loved everything about this dress, from the fit to the pattern, and especially the pockets. If it was available for sale, I'd grab it in a second. The bow in the back makes the fit of the top slightly adjustable, so it fit wonderfully. Paired with a bright chunky necklace, it was the perfect dress for a rehearsal dinner on the beach.

I rented this dress for a wedding I attended and absolutely loved it. It was comfortable to wear all night and it looked great. I'd totally wear this again. After reading reviews, I sized up for my backup and was very glad I did. I have a relatively long torso, and the bodice on this dress is a little short so I needed the extra length for it to fit. I docked it a star because, as others have noted, the zipper situation is not good. It was very difficult to get the zipper over the fabric transition at the waist band. I think they probably should have constructed this differently.

I ordered this as a backup dress for a casual rehearsal dinner and was so glad that the other worked out. The fit was very strange. As others have mentioned, the fabric is very thick and it flared out almost like a crinoline around the hips. It was uncomfortable to sit in, and despite the fact that I'm fairly short, it was too short on me to be appropriate to the occasion. The top of the dress was great, though, and I loved the back straps. A lot of potential, but with some flaws.

This was my backup style and I really loved it. The color and detail were great, it was comfortable enough to wear all night, and the fit was flattering. I think this dress runs fairly large. I sized down based on reviews and was glad I did. My normal size would have been way too big.

I rented this dress for a wedding and ended up wearing the backup style. Both sizes were too big through the arms, and the waist was much more elastic-y than I'd expected. It was also an unflattering length on me. I had high hopes for this one, but it wasn't quite what I'd expected.
