beautiful dress!
I suspect many people had rented this dress prior to me so it had a little more give in the fabric (i.e. some gaping in the chest that i doubt existed when it was newer), but I thought it looked amazing overall! i felt super confident and got tons of compliments. i was about 130 lbs in this pic - an interesting note for size about this brand: I rented another Herve leger dress in size M that had cutouts on the sides, it cut into my ribs in a very unflattering way and was essentially unwearable so i would’ve needed an L in that design. get a backup size if you can!

great quality, not flattering for shorter/curvy body type
very nice material/cool style, not flattering on my body type (it felt boxy and unflattering on my small shoulders, short torso, larger bust/hips). would be cute for taller/slimmer build.

cute skirt, but FYI on sizing
i tried the M when i was 135 lbs (i’m 5’4) and couldn’t zip it up, not an issue with the skirt itself but just be aware of sizing if you have hips/thighs!

too much fabric if you’re curvy with short torso
the size s felt like the right size, but i felt like a taffeta little bo peep in this regardless - too much fabric with no accentuation for my curves. i rented as one option for a wedding, ended up not wearing it. i can see this potentially working for someone taller than me with a slimmer build!

unique and well-designed
i loved this coat so much, i ended up purchasing. i’m 5’4/5’5, small shoulders, wide hips, and my weight varies between 135-145 lbs. the S was perfect, i often find that heavier outerwear looks boxy or unflattering on me because i’m curvy with a short torso, but this was so flattering, classy, professional, and the color block design is super unique!
