Outrageous sizing
Rented a large knowing it might be too tight and it was TEENY. The large probably fits someone who’s maybe a size 4..? Don’t waste a rental spot on this.

Ran small. Not for real winter.
I found this to be small - snug through the arms and shoulders and short in the sleeves for my height. This is definitely not a winter coat if you live somewhere it gets below 40. This was decent for late winter into early spring and would probably work in the fall too. I would've had to size up two sizes to fit a bulky sweater under this, which I would need if I tried to wear this in New England winter. Sort of a miss for me.

Zero stars, hated it
No idea how this looks good on others in their photos! This looked totally insane - massive poofy shoulders and really wide, especially when I tried tucking it into pants. The sleeves were a bit short, which is normal for me, but the unusual cut of the sleeves made it look very strange on me. Maybe this works for someone more small/average size with a bigger bust?

Bulky and uncomfortable
The turtleneck was bulky and too snug and it just wasn’t as comfortable as I hoped. Plenty warm though so I still wore it on a ski vacation because I was staying in a chilly cabin. Didn’t feel like a flattering fit.

Ran very small and cropped
Not sure why you'd ever make a base layer legging for winter sports cropped in length. I guess you can wear knee socks? Either way, these ran so small that I didn't wear them skiing because I was afraid the snug fit would bother me and I'd be stuck wearing them all day. Wore around the vacation house because the pattern was fun but the sizing is insanely small.

Great base layer
Seems a little crazy to rent base layers from RTR but I gave it a shot for a ski trip to Steamboat and was happy I did! This was a perfect layer for mild conditions and is way cuter than the same old stuff I've been wearing for years. Worked well for high intensity powder days and having a beer at the bar at the end of the day. Knocked off one star because it ran small. Sleeves were a little short for me and tight at the wrists, which was extra noticeable because this has the feature for your smart watch to be visible with the sleeve pulled over/around the watch face.

Don't rent if you don't want to talk about it
Absolutely absurd article of clothing, as others have said. If you don't want to be a topic of conversation among friends, loved ones, and total strangers, do not rent! It's a funny and comfortable item though and I liked the warm and fuzzy feel around the neck - I just found the sleeves too short for my lanky frame.

Loved it more in theory
I was bummed by the sort of awkward fit and shape of this. I loved the colors and pattern but it was sort of heavy and bulky in a very unflattering way. It's a rare thing that I put on clothes and think "wow this makes me look kind of huge and bad," but this sure did. Disappointed because I loved the idea of it! Still wore a couple times.

Skirt doesn't hold shape at bottom
The lining of the skirt hung out beneath the bottom hem even though the lining was attached to the outer layer of the skirt. Basically, something has gone wrong with the structure of the skirt at the bottom so it doesn't hold shape and looks weird. I would've liked it more if not for that.

Immediately stretches out way too big
These pants fit for one wear and then stretched out super big. Cozy for wearing around the house but I never wore them in public because they got loose and baggy and looked awful. Not worth it since they were only cute for one wear!

Whoever added pockets to this surely must've been fired
We live in a truly baffling universe in which this sweater was allowed to go to production with these non-functional, lumpy, and... evocative pockets. I've never worn an item in which the pocket design made the whole thing embarrassing to wear in public. It's also not that nice of a sweater! Cozy for wearing around the house I guess.

I took a risk and went with the 6 because the 8 wasn't available. Way too small - I probably would've needed a 10 to be comfortable. Can't really vouch for the look since they were wayyyy too small and looked terrible on me. Didn't love the feel of the fabric either.

Surprisingly versatile
Wore this a bunch both to work with a skirt or slacks and everyday with jeans. Needed a camisole underneath to feel comfortable but it was breezy and looked great. The fabric isn’t my favorite because it’s a little rough rather than soft, but it looked really neat and put together with anything I paired it with. One of those tops that made me feel like I looked good even if everything else felt like a mess!

Great slim fitting skirt for work
This was a heavier fabric than I expected but had a really nice fit. There's no zipper or buttons so it was a little snug putting it on but then fit perfectly. Nice length for me at 5'11 but probably too long for anyone on the short to average end of height unless you're okay with nearly floor length.

Light and airy but very wide and boxy
This dress was comfortable and fun but much wider and more boxy than I expected. It was a very loose and wide fit on me, and short at my height. Not especially nice quality fabric. Sleeves were short for me.

I'm 5'11 and this was just about ankle length on me. I needed to hold the skirt up in my hands when going up stairs. Fit was fine. Sleeves were more fluttery than I expected. Not particularly nice fabric or quality. Wore to work twice but wouldn't wear again.

Loved it!
I wore this a bunch of times before, during, and after a recent beach vacation. It was definitely tight on me (I’m about a 36A and tall) and it felt like the neck rode up too high towards my throat so I was often tugging it down in front. The darts on the sides also felt up too high, but I think I should’ve sized up. In spite of all that, I loved it! Great color and stayed in place.

Barely fits a modern smartphone
This bag was cute but I had to jam my iPhone in on the diagonal to get it to fit. It worked, barely, but anything that doesn’t easily and conveniently fit a typical smartphone in 2024 is a bust in my opinion. I would’ve picked something else for this event if there were more non-leather options available.

Weird and unflattering
The different colored lenses and shapes on these sunglasses are weird and didn’t flatter anything about the shape of my face. I only rented because I was going on vacation and it was virtually the only option available for sunglasses. Didn’t like and barely wore!

This was large and loose. It might have been cute if it was tight, or at least slim fitting. Sleeves were short for me and the whole upper half of the dress fit loosely on my body. Not as good quality as I hoped. It was so bad looking on me I didn’t bother trying to size down.

Weird proportions, didn’t wear
This fit all wrong- too large in some places and small in others. This dress is very loose and low cut in the front and the seam below the bust hit in a weird spot between the line of my bust and waist. The sleeves were very short so I wouldn’t have been able to button the wrist closure because it hit in the middle of my forearm. Not for the tall and lanky. Returned without wearing.

Like others said, and who I should have listened to, this is a bizarre item that fits all wrong in most places. Waist is gigantic considering how stretchy the material is. Fit okay through the hips when I sized down (had to exchange and I shouldve returned instead!) but the tight opening at the bottom of the skirt makes you shorten your steps. Terrible. Don’t assume you’ll be the exception to all the reviews for this one. Skip it.

VERY warm but interesting piece
This is possibly the warmest sweater I’ve ever worn. Once I got used to the bulkiness of the turtleneck and scarf piece in the front, I really liked wearing this. It worked well as a work or everyday option in New England winter temps with either a skirt or high-waisted jeans.

Great skirt, insanely large
I loved this skirt and wore it to work and around town. Like others have said, it’s HUGE. I’m typically a 6 or 8 so sized down to a six and it was still one or two sizes too large. If I rented again I would definitely get a 2 or 4, especially since this is supposed to sit at the waist, not around the hips. I wore with a belt and sweater that hid the fact that I had a belt holding the skirt up. The waist was also flimsy and poorly constructed considering the retail price of this item. I’d wear again if I could get the sizing right though!

Great shirt, very small in the wrists
I liked this top a lot but it was really small through the forearms and wrists. I probably could’ve sized up and it would’ve fit fine through the chest and shoulders, but half a size too small doesn’t usually make it impossible to remove a button-down without unbuttoning the wrist closure, which was annoying.

Playful and interesting piece
When I first tried this on it felt absurd (gave very steampunk train conductor vibes) but when I dressed for work I really liked it. It was fun and funky so I liked it with an otherwise minimalist look. Genuinely enjoyed wearing it and it felt playful. Only things I didn’t like were that the pockets are small - you can’t fit a modern iPhone in with the flap down so it looks goofy with anything bulkier than maybe a work ID card or chapstick - and the sleeves were snug. It was a tight fit in the forearm with a slim fitting shirt underneath. A large may have worked just as well as the medium on me.

VERY warm and flattering
I loved this sweater and paired it with the matching skirt for work but also wore frequently with leggings at home. Be warned - it’s *very* warm. I went to a work event and could feel the sweat on my back in a crowded room, though it was great in my cold house in January or sitting at a desk! Sleeves were long, which was perfect for me, and the shortest part of the sweater still hit just below the skirt or high waisted leggings so I wasn’t cold due to the asymmetrical cut. Somewhat itchy even for me - I’m learning from RTR reviews I’m not super sensitive to this but I was sometimes glad to take this off at the end of the night.
