Matching set with unexpected fit
I had to try this set on twice before I could decide if I liked it. I think it might have been better if I sized down in the skirt, and maybe the top too? I was expecting the top to be more fitted, but it is not actually fitted but sort of loose. When tucked it makes a nice look, but still felt a little confused by it. The fit made it so that I couldn’t figure out another way to wear it except with the matching skirt. Also the neck is quite tight without a ton of give and no zipper. Maybe I just have a big head, but I think you definitely want your hair and makeup done AFTER you put the top on. Despite the unexpected fit, I found the set charming and interesting.

Unique and reversible
If you reverse it the RTR tag shows, but it’s cool enough that I didn’t care. Wish I’d done a size down. Because it’s quilted, it’s not like…figure hugging or flattering…in any size. But conceptually interesting and fun to try to style. Got the set and experimented. Felt like an art curator or something.

Love the concept. Wish there was a bit more structure to the body of the skirt. I feel like the way it's built the skirt is less fitted than I want and the waist band is more tight than the body of the skirt and it sort of emphasizes my tummy...but cute anyway.

Vibe check
Wanted to try to long shorts/bloomers look, and honestly, greatly enjoyed it! Of course, without styling they have a frumpy vibe (that I’m also kind of into). I don’t think anyone rents these because they think these shorts are gonna be amazingly figure flattering? But then, with a sexier or fitted top, suddenly you’re quite chic and interesting. They were slightly large in the waist, but I personally hate a tight-ish elastic band, so I was fine with pulling them up some and having a very relaxed fit. So comfortable that I did immediately feel like I was on vacation. I like RTR precisely for trying styles like this that I don’t have the gumption to buy, but heck yea I want to give it a try on a day when I’m feeling like experimenting!

They seemed like cute enough shorts, but I ordered the wrong size. I wanted an un-fitted look, like on the model, but the size I got was tight on my (large/athletic) legs. I’m usually a 10, sometimes 8 or 12 depending on brand. Didn’t wear.

Way too short
I was so excited to have a sweet, easy throw-on dress, and I thought I sized correctly after reading reviews, but I’m wondering if this dress has shrunk after other washes/wears? It was way too short for me in this size and all of the proportions seemed off. Might try again in a larger size because it looks so cute in so many reviews!

Flirty n cute
Loved how this was cute and practical when I put it on and it fit great! Found the shape flattering. After being in muggy humid weather all day the linen-y fabric loosened a lot, however, and it didn’t stay up as well and I was practically holding it up by the end of the night. Might try a smaller size, but then it might be less comfortable when I put it on :/ ?

Cute but tough to size
There’s mixed reviews on the fit - is it oversized? True to size? I got my true size for a top and as you can see the buttons are gaping around my bust, despite others saying the bust is roomy, though this is typical for me. Color, shape, and styling could be cute for the perfect person, but because it’s sort of a structured linen-y material without a lot of give, I think it sort of needs to fit your dimensions to a tee so that it doesn’t gape anywhere. If you size down you run the risk of not being able to button it. Dang!

Love the idea…
Love the color, material, shape, but I would have only wanted to wear this on a day I’m feeling my slimmest self, which wasn’t this week. While the ruching is generally flattering, of course the dress is still relatively fitted through the bodice, and it felt like it emphasized my tummy. Didn’t wear because I would have felt like I needed to suck in all day. If you don’t feel that pressure (and I hope you don’t), then you’ll probably find this comfy and adorable!

If you don’t like sculpture and volume, this ain’t for you. Cool sheer-ish material, I wore tights under for warmth. The waist band does have some elastic in the back, but still found myself wishing the XL band was a little bigger so I could have worn a tucked in fitted top and had a more flattering sleek silhouette. V Sexy!
Was very skeptical that it would work with no bra for me, but after reading other reviews that said it had actually stayed in place and provided decent support without a bra I took a risk for an "all black" wedding. Went totally sans undergarments which felt pretty scandalous and freeing. Danced and twerked the night away and my nipple never made an appearance, wow. Very figure flattering. Received many compliments and a few raised eyebrows. Totally worth it. Highly recommend.

Perfect rental - not something I need or want in my closet all the time but was perfect for an evening wear at a resort and the next day for a fun color and extra sun coverage for my pale skin.
