Love!
I love Modern Citizen. They make basics that are versatile but interesting. This was no exception! It felt like a modern (and flattering) update on the classic denim jacket.

Fun statement blazer
Liked but didn't love this one. From the picture I thought it would read almost as a neutral, but the colors are brighter in real life. It was a fun statement piece but not something I'd reach for all the time.

Cute skirt, but I wasn't super impressed with the quality. The fabric is tissue-thin and puckered a bit—but the puckering may have been because it was a tiny bit too small. I recommend sizing up!

This shirt made me smile and got lots of compliments. It was a little tricky to style—I couldn't decide if I should lean into the oversized boxy look or try to tuck it for some shape. Ended up liking it best loosely tucked into a mini skirt and paired with high boots.

This is the second pair of Le Jeans I've rented, and both have been stylish and flattering yet very comfy. These were forgiving without stretching TOO much.

Good fall/early winter rental
I can't imagine paying the $500+ retail price for faux leather, but this was fun as a rental. Lots of compliments! It's probably best for fall temps rather than true winter cold, though. It looked a little odd with anything layered over it for warmth.

This dress drapes so beautifully. It's clingy and sexy but glides over curves in such a flattering way. I'm surprised that other reviews mention wearing it to work, because the length and fabric read as pretty formal to me. I wore it to an event with a cocktail dress code and felt properly dressed!

Perfect black tie dress
I felt chic and elegant in this dress at a black tie wedding. Due to the high slit, you do have to be careful not to flash everyone while seated. But otherwise, it was very easy to wear. I didn't need a bra or shapewear, and it didn't wrinkle in my suitcase during a cross-country flight!

I wore this on vacation in Portugal and it definitely fit the vibe. Other reviews mentioned it being see-through, but I didn't think the open weave was overly revealing. I do wish it was a little less fitted, particularly through the stomach, but that's just personal preference!
