I really wanted to love this dress - the color was great and the cut was really cute - but it did not fit well. I'm pear shaped and normally wear a size 2/4 in tops and a size 6 in bottoms. I ordered the 4, which fit perfectly on top, but had to wear the back-up, a size 6, because I couldn't fit my hips and butt into the 4. The 6 was tight across my hips, but manageable, and the top was a bit loose. It made me look wider than I am, which was not flattering. If you're pear-shaped, I'd advise sizing up or trying a different dress.

I wore this for Halloween (I was Phryne Fisher from Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries) and it worked really well! It definitely runs large - size down! I typically wear a size 4 to accommodate my large hips, thighs, and butt, but the 2 fit much better. Seriously, even if you are pear-shaped like me, size down. I also had to pin the straps together in the back as they were somewhat long and pin the cuffs up since I am quite short. It was a little bit loose in the chest because I have a small bust, but pinning the straps back helped. The fabric is thick and comfortable - I enjoyed wearing it for the evening and would definitely recommend.
