Rent the Runway makes the dresses I love, but can't afford, easily accessible and I love it!
I have only two other pieces of clothing I get as many compliments on. Everyone loved this dress and told me so! From the basic, "I love your dress!" to, "you're stunning!" I cannot say enough good things about this dress. It fit like a glove, as they say. It is the epitome of a lady-like dress. The top is fitted in a flattering way that feels like you're wear an old-timey great quality corset. At the natural waist it becomes a flowy somewhat full skirt that has great movement. For the amount of fabric there, it is still incredibly lightweight. It is perfect for dancing. The only other advice I can give apart from- Rent this dress! It is AMAZING, and you will NOT be disappointed- is that I'd recommend shying away from wearing bright or dark underpinnings. It's not sheer, but you can see the contrast if you wear darker colors. The closer to your nude color, the better.

Rent the Runway, once again, delivers on everything.
I rented this for a day I knew I was going to spend outside in the sun with my boyfriend for hours. The size I wanted (M) wasn't available for the dates I needed, but I went ahead and ordered the large thinking it'd probably be close to fitting and I could cinch in the waist with a belt, and against the rest of the billowing it'd make my waist look even smaller. However, when I received the dress, every aspect of it was huge on me so I couldn't even do that. The dress is gorgeous. It's the epitome of a perfect white sundress in crisp cotton. Even with the eyelet patterns (which are super adorable in person) you could probably get away with wearing a matte nude (whatever color your nude may be) bra, or strapless bra. The skirt is fuller than most, but it offsets the shortness of the skirt and see-through eyelets in a really nice way. I'll probably re-order this in a small or medium.

Rent the Runway was prompt with the delivery, as usual
This dress is fine. I got it to wear to a picnic on a farm. The only bi-color aspect of the dress is a black fold on the bodice of the dress that only slightly varies from the dark navy color of the rest of it. I wanted this because it seemed like a pretty, low-key thing to throw on and be comfortable in, and it was! The only thing I realized when I received the dress that was different than I'd expected is that I thought the dress appeared to be made of layered and folded jersey, but it's actually some sort of crepe polyester/organza. If you're looking for a plain strapless breezy dress then you will like this.

The customer service and prompt delivery.
I was really pleased with the color of the dress- a light almost silvery gray- because I was worried it'd be too close to white, and thereby inappropriate for the wedding I intended to wear it for. The top part of the dress is an open surplice all the way to the waist so it really does require double sided tape- which they included in the package, thanks RTR!- or some kind of under-shirt camisole or slip (which I personally think would look odd). The wrapping on the bottom of the dress has no give at all, so if you're hippy you might want to size up or it'll bunch up or just be awkward. To get the look in the picture you really need to be straight up and down. I ended up not wearing it to the wedding and returned it because it looked a little worn and the zipper was coming slightly loose. I was disappointed about that because it really is a completely gorgeous dress.
