Soft fabric. The plunge went down to my belly button. Returned for a smaller size -- big Morticia at the beach vibes. I'm looking forward to wearing it over a body suit.

The fit of this piece was weird. It accommodates hips, but the diamond overwhelms the rest of the piece. It's too dominant for how delicate it is. Also, the chest is not bra friendly. This would look great on someone with a long waist, narrower hips, who loves balconette-style tops.

I adored this piece. Got compliments from strangers and friends alike. I would have bought it, but it wasn't a perfect fit. I have the world's shortest torso, and the buttons sat too low. I can't alter it either, because of the pocket placement. If you have a normal torso, rent this! You will not be disappointed.

Love it
This is one of my favorite rentals. The fabric is a great weight and jersey-ish. Very good travel piece, because it doesn't wrinkle. My only issue was that the arms were pretty small at the top. As a lady who lifts, it just wasn't accommodating enough for my biceps and shoulders. Then again, not many things are!

Very thin but warm wool. Double faced, which was nice contrast. Unlined, and laid beautifully against the body. Did not show light colored dog hair at all. The draping wasn't really my style otherwise I would have worn it more.

These were great. Very soft. Elastic waistband in the back is very forgiving. Good toffee-ish color. I have a short torso, so the rise on these was too big for me. Size 6 had a ~30" waist and 11" rise.

I loved this jacket. Super warm. Pockets are a bit odd, but functional. I struggle to find things that work for my petite frame because I carry a lot of upper body muscle. This was great and didn't bunch up. Only returned because I wanted to try the pink one!

This says it’s made out of twill, but it feels more like a poly/crepe. Heavy and smoothing without being hot. I liked them with heels, but they felt kinda dowdy with Chelsea boots. The color is warm. If it was cooler, I would have bought them.

Good for petites, but slim/long in the waist
Really great piece. Lays beautifully along the body. Arms were a bit narrow for me, but it fit my petite frame well in the the shoulders and underarms/bust. (I have upper body muscle, so take that with a grain of salt.) It’s definitely slim cut blazer that’s long in the waist though. The button sat a little low on me. I wore it open, because it was a bit too slim to sit with it buttoned comfortably. I’m considering getting a size larger to see if there’s any give. Wore with Spanx wide-leg ponte work pants and it worked well as a “suit”.

Madewell jeans don’t usually work for me, but I figured I’d try again with a wider-leg variety. Nope. The rise was too high for my short torso, and they me fit weird. If you like Madewell, then go for it though. They fit pretty typical for the brand. Also, deets on the style: Vertical seem down the front and the hem will need ironing. The fabric is nice and heavy, but does relax through the day. I found they relaxed more around the hip/leg than the waist though.

Went to a conference in NYC. Wore the matching blazer, slacks, and a Chanel pearl necklace all day for work, then swapped in this skirt+tight for cocktails/dinner. (It fit in my day bag, and the tweed meant no wrinkles!) Felt a little over-dressed for work-work, but got several compliments. So, if you're up for being a little extra, and need to entertain colleagues/clients, I can't recommend enough!

Loved this. Felt like a walking sleeping bag without looking like a sleeping bag. Excellent warmth for a synthetic (vs. real down) coat. It cuts the wind well. Great light flows material. Not heavy flannel. The pattern is multicolored, but doesn't read as too busy or fussy. Great layering piece. This is not oversized, so choose accordingly. I needed a bigger size to get the look I wanted, but adjusted to the leaner fit just fine. Thought hard about buying this one.

Subtle drama, heavy knit
Very cool piece. The cutouts are very sexy and well placed. It doesn't move around, so I wasn't concerned about a wardrobe malfunction. Size down if you want more compression. The only reason I didn't love it more is because I have the world's shortest torso, and it wasn't magic on me. If you have a normal to long-ish waist this will look bomb on you.

Insulated and draped to perfection
Beautiful trench. It's absolutely stunning. The description is misleading, but don't let that deter you. (I understand the other reviewers got something they didn't expect, but I don't think it's fair to knock the coat for that.) Ahem... So, this is a puffer jacket disguised as a trench. It is impeccably made, and the fabric drapes beautifully. You should think of this as something to dress down (vs. dress up) to elevate daily life. It's warm enough to wear over an evening gown and would be PERFECT traveling for work in cold or transitional seasons, because you wouldn't need to carry on a bunch of heavy layers. It'll accommodate a variety dress codes. Looks really great worn open with jeans and converse too. Really versatile piece. Highly recommend!

Roomy, snatches your waist, and makes your butt look fantastic. There's plenty of room for layers. Took me a hot minute to figure out the pockets. The slash pockets are great for hands and the zip pockets fit full size phone + wallet with room to spare. It doesn't breathe very well, so I wouldn't wear it on a day where you might sweat. Found it to be great for walking around town. It dresses up or down nicely. The medium fit well. It's TTS. The style is very roomy under the armpits though, which prevented me from buying it. That said, I'm swapping for a smaller size to see if it is even better, and plan to buy it if it is.

So so so comfy
I wore this so many times--to coffee, to brunch, to walk the dog. It's a great every day piece and so easy to throw on over leggings and a onesie. The kangaroo pouch doesn't make you look paunchy either. (Very nice) It didn't overwhelm my small frame either. The only drawback is that it's quite large. I have ~39-40" hips and this was still very roomie. It's sad there wasn't a smaller size, otherwise I would have bought it!
