I wore this dress to a black tie gala and it was super comfortable and flattering at the same time which NEVER happens. Length was perfect for me with a 4” heel and it hung beautifully. It smooths everything out and accentuates your curves. My only complaint is that it runs a little big compared to my other RTR dresses, which could be due to the nature of it being a stretchy velvet material or being worn and possibly stretched out by heavy rotation of other renters. I ordered a size 2 with a size 4 backup and wish I had ordered a size 0. The size 2 worked but I was pulling it up all night since the top didn’t hug tight enough and the dress has some weight to it. For reference, I’m 5’ 5.5” and weigh 120 lbs with a 32C-D bra size and denim size 25.

I rented this dress in a S but also asked for an XS just in case. Both fit, but since we were going out for a birthday dinner and dancing the S made me feel more comfortable. The fabric is amazing -- like a neoprene wetsuit -- so it holds everything in without feeling like shapewear. I received so many compliments on the dress and stood out in the best way. My only negative was that the dress arrived with a 2-inch section along the back seam where it had ripped, but I did my best to sew it up and no one noticed the flaw. I would definitely rent another CC dress in the future!
