Great rental!
Wore this buttoned up and wide open - with jeans, with slacks, and with parachute pants on a flight. So versatile! I wouldn't normally buy something like this, so it was a perfect rental. Would rent again, but this time w the bottoms!

Gorg and sleek but…
Hippie ladies beware…these were a little snug in the hip region AND too gorg to skip so I made it work. They’re quite thin, so plan for stockings if wearing on a cold winter day, especially if you’ll be out in the elements (like I was). I wore with sneakers but could see these dolled up with loafers or heels (maybe not boots). Would’ve been 5 stars If wasn’t so snug and if it had pockets!

Not sure if I got a defective item but this was not good. The slit kept riding up very uncomfortably and made it look horrible. Almost as if there was a mismatch between the lining and the outer part of the skirt. Super embarrassing to keep adjusting all day. Grrrr

As others have said, size at least 2 sizes down and you’ll still achieve an oversized, cozy sweater look. The black swirl detail is so fun but the overly oversized blew my high and made it so hard to style. Ended up wearing as a sweater dress.

Love the brand but this was a bit meh for me. It was versatile for sure, as I wore it with shorts on the weekend and then with jeans for work, but it lacked that pizzaz I’ve grown to expect from Simon Miller. SM also usu runs a little big but this was quite snug on my boobs (36DDD) so I’d recommend going a little bigger if you’re busty

this item is cute in theory but in reality… really hard to wear with a bra (or tape) - hence it prob not being for those who need support. I got for vacation but ended up just wearing around the house, where the girls swinging was more acceptable. Also, be prepared to give it a quick iron or steam

Absolutely gorgeous - but have fabric tape handy
Loved this and it was a fun wear. For a summer wedding (and outdoor) it may have been a little too warm in the humidity, but it was stunning and easy to dance in. The body fit like a glove and hugs curves nicely but the bust/back kept sliding down throughout the night and revealing my bra…grrr. Nothing some fabric tape couldn’t fix so might want to have that handy.

Pop of color and interesting cut but…
It’s sooooo wrinkly! I wish it were a better, more structured fabric. If you’re saying “but it’s linen…” yes sure I get it… but with the boxy nature and bright color the wrinkles seem even more pronounced and end up making the blazer look pretty sloppy.

Loved wearing this to a fundraising gala! It’s strapless bra friendly (initially I was going to go with tape but there’s structure enough that a bra works and with the right tape, will stay out of sight) Lots of compliments and Hugged curves just right and was *mostly* able to dance in it (did get challenging the later the night got and the better the music got, lol)

Comfy and cute but does lose its shape
Wore this on a flight and a time or two around the neighborhood. Can be dressed down (I wore with comfy sneaks) or dressed a bit more up with some boots perhaps. The fabric is a bit comfy so idk that gin can jazz it up too much more (say for something more dressy). It also lost its shape throughout the day, so dedicated 1 star for that. Overall - worth a rent but wouldn't bet on it being THE 'fit
