I rented this for my second daughter's christening and it was perfectly tasteful (as well as eye-catching) for the affair. Like other reviewers, I will say that the cap sleeves pose a bit of a problem. They do not allow for much range of motion for your arms, so steer clear of this dress if attending an event that requires anything but cocktails and sitting around. It made lifting my baby and toddler all day a bit of challenge. But fashion is rarely utilitarian, so I still give this 4 stars for helping me look and feel great five months postpartum!

I wore this to a casual country club reception and received so many compliments! It's comfortable and you can easily wear a racer back bra. Loved it! Honestly wish I owned it!

I rented this for a casual country club wedding, and I'm really glad I rented a Tibi dress as backup. While I love this dress, I ordered a 0 and 2, and neither fit particularly well. I am a 32D, so I have a smaller rib cage with a bigger chest. The 2 was a little big (I typically wear size 2 or 4), and the 0 actually fit (confidence booster!!) but my chest was pressed awkwardly even without a bra. There just wasn't enough room. I decided to wear the backup dress instead, but for a smaller busted girl, this frock is just lovely!

I ordered this dress for my bridal shower and planned to wear it with patterned brown tights and ankle boots. When it arrived, it definitely was darker than in the photo, but still a very pretty dress. Unfortunately, I ordered a size 4, which, based on the sizing chart provided, should have fit, and a size 6 back-up per the RTR notation. The size 4 was far too large. It gaped in the back and hung like a tunic, rather than being form-fitted as on the model. I am almost always a size 4 in dresses, and rarely a 2, but I reccommend sizing down for this dress, at least for your back-up size. I was disappointed not to wear it for my shower, but will rent from RTR again for an upcoming wedding. All-in-all, it was a beautiful dress and I wish it had fit.
