I'm a size 16 and the large still worked for me. I could have worn an XL for more room in the bust, but i think it would have been too much fabric on the bottom. So many compliments. Long sleeve thin so still could wear to summer wedding !

I rented this as a backup dress and I didn't like my first dress this was my only option. when I initially tried it on I didn't like it because it didn't have any support at all (I'm a DD) however - I got a spanx "dress" with a built in bra and it worked perfectly. ( Only showed a little in the low cut back the support was worth it) I I was also nervous it would be too summery for a fall wedding but the colors are beautiful. I thought I was going to be self conscious all night and I got so many compliments. Would definitely recommend this dress!

I was mortified because I saw that 9 month pregnant women wore smaller sizes that Me but the "baggy" look is what I loved about this dress. Looked awesome with my spray tan. So I've unfortunately gained some weight - so I'm usually a size 12 now. I am 36DD and have a very big butt. I didn't have to wear a bra because there is a little built in corset which was very nice. It pulled a little at hips but was still comfortable. I am 5'4 and it was slightly too long. If a dress hits my knee sometimes it can make me look bigger. (My boyfriend thought it was too long) so I actually used hemming tape and it worked out well.

I rented this for a outdoor beach wedding. I was so excited for this rental it was absolutely my color and style. I rented the 10 and 12 . The 10 fit but was pulling at my hips and the 12 was a little large on top and STILL pulled at my hips. I was so sad. I decided not to wear because I knew I was going to be doing a lot of dancing. Maybe my hips are just extra wide!

I absolutely loved the style and color of the dress. I wore the 10 to an outdoor wedding. The dress fit beautifully except for when the zipper got to my back... It took a few people to zipper it up lol. I am a 36D. Also I'm glad it was a "summer chic". Dress code so I wore flat sandals because I'm 5'4 and I wore a slip and I still felt self conscious dancing because it was so short. This WAS my backup so I had no choice but to make it work. I wish Elizabeth and James made this in a 12!!! Beautiful dress otherwise I guess it's just for skinnier girls than me

I wore this dress to a October wedding. It's a beautiful dress!!! Just not for me. I felt the heavy fabric made me look bigger at the hips (which I already have enough of!) Since it was a little on the long side- I feel like I could have worn a 6 if my bust wasn't so big so I would recommend maybe getting a smaller back up size if you want to feel a little more sexy. I have nothing bad to say about this dress! You can tell it's expensive beautiful color and details - just not the best on my body! Also a statement necklace is a must!!!
