Breezy Phillip Lim number ideal for a spring day
This dress is darling from the belted waist down -- it feels and drapes like you grabbed a very decent cotton bed sheet and fashioned it into a skirt, not in a bad way. Think Ariel the mermaid when she washes ashore and fashions a ripped sail into a dress. The top half is less interesting -- it's a thick white T-shirt, the end. The sleeves are a bit long and the neck is a bit high -- a slightly more tailored shirt, with a little less coverage, would be cuter, and feel less like the free shirt you got for participating in a 5K. Redeem the skirt portion by hiding the shirt portion; wear it with a cropped jacket and it's a spring winner.

Mystery bling success!
Very pretty earrings worn with the Carmen Marc Valvo magenta brocade dress. Loved the gold. I got these as Mystery Bling and probably wouldn't have picked it myself (note the measurements -- it's a serious oval dangler!), but they worked out well in the end and looked great. Saved me from wearing a necklace since they were plenty bling for the outfit.

Jewel-tone Jackie O. -- stunning color!
This is the second time I've rented this dress. I wore the 6 last time and it was just a little roomy in the waist, so I went with the 4 this time (a bit snug, but I think this round worked out better, in spite of just a little tightness when I sat). The dress is a gorgeous, really vibrant magenta and really flattering cut, and the material is nice and lightweight for a brocade. It was a great choice for an evening work event -- conservative but very flattering. I got compliments all night and was sad to return it.

Only workable for Humpty-Dumpty
The waistband on both pairs of pants (sizes 2 and 4) were laughably stretched. The elastic around the ankles was great, but in order for anyone to be able to wear these, they'd need to have either (a) a Tweedledum body shape, or (b) some very cute suspenders. Would have been a fun wear -- the sequins are such a great color! For that, I'm giving two stars, imagining that the first person to wear these had a great time in them. Luckily, RTR's return/credit policy is a good one!

Beautiful, feminine blouse ideal for semiformal dinner -- so many compliments!
I felt great wearing this blouse. The fit is TTS -- I wore a 4 and it fell loose without looking boxy or unflattering at all. The keyhole neck and slightly sheer sleeves are a really nice touch, and I love that the sleeves billow just a tiny bit. I wish I could have bought this one! Also wish I'd taken a few more photos that showed it off better. :)

Knockout dress! Amazing color, good material, slam-dunk fit.
I got so many compliments on this coral number at a work luncheon, I ended up wearing it that night, too! It's quite body-conscious, and you'll have to pick your bra carefully, as the sleeves want to slide down the shoulders a little. But I liked it enough that I ended up buying it in black.

Lovely, feminine dress for a spring party!
This is one of the few RTR dresses touting itself as "bump-friendly" that fits the bill (it's wild to me that RTR doesn't have far, far more pregnancy-appropriate dresses!) I wore a size 4 at almost 7 months pregnant, and it worked great. As other reviewers noted, neither it nor the other size came with the grosgrain belt promised. Plan ahead and have your own belt ready. With the 4, the length wasn't a problem for me (I'm 5'7" and wore a 2-inch wedge), but I would have had to wear taller shoes with the 6.

Great dress for a bridal shower.
I was worried this dress would be a little too precious with the lace overlay, but the top of it shows some skin and keeps it from entering old-lady-tea-party territory. I wore it with black pumps and felt great.

I needed a bright dress to wear to a big political event, and this did the trick.
I found the dress to run a big large around the middle. But all told, I got tons of compliments and definitely stood out. A great dress that I wish I owned... in a 4.

I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding at the end of summer. I'm a fairly true size 6 and this dress fit like a glove, though I was grateful for the size 8 as well because that belt fit much better than the size 6 belt. The color of this dress is just sublime and the texture is incredible. I'm a 34C and required a strapless bra to fill out the top. The built-in bodice is not supportive enough on its own. This was my first RTR experience, and overall, it was great, however I was disappointed to find that the size 6 top-of-zipper clasp was broken (missing, really) on delivery and that the dress had a small stitch in the front, clearly from a repair. It was hardly noticeable, and I likely would have still rented the dress with knowledge of these things, but I think RTR should let renters know about them in advance.

Fabulous dress, very flattering and true to size. I was complimented all night long. Note that it is quite short -- I wore it with bright navy tights and heels to a cold-weather California wedding in October. I wish I owned it -- it's really quite adorable.

Perfect for business event
This dress does run a bit small without much stretch, as others have said, but the size 6 fit me like a glove (I'm 34-29-38). I couldn't eat much or bend over, but it was worth it. It's slimming and very sleek, and perfect with classic black pumps. Wish I could have kept it!
