As described but I didn't love it
This definitely has an oversized fit, which I expected from the reviews. Overall I felt the color-blocking wasn't flattering, the largest part being gray felt shapeless to me.

Comfortable yet dressy for Thanksgiving at home.
Loved wearing this over black leggings for Thanksgiving at home! So comfortable yet dressy. The top is a little low cut. Fabric is soft and thin.

The perfect clutch for my rehearsal dinner and wedding!
I read all the reviews before renting this, and it worked out perfectly. I was able to use it to accessorize my long black rehearsal dinner dress, and my wedding gown, which I wore with gold shoes. I wasn't really carrying the bag around all that much, but I wanted a pretty purse for the day. It fit my phone, a compact and lipstick, and some credit cards. The purse is very well made and looks expensive. I recommend.

The color of this dress was so unusual and I had many compliments on the unusual design.
I could not tell from the photograph, but the skirt on this dress is cut like a pencil skirt. Had I known, I would not have rented this dress - pencil cuts do not work on my body. I have a small waist and curvy behind and thighs, and the skirt hugged my lines, even in the larger size. The fabric is an unlined silk crepe, which also showed more imperfections that I would have liked. I was hoping for a looser A-line. I had to run to the store and get Spanx, which did the trick. The waist was a bit big on me, luckily I had a slim belt with me that I used to cinch it into place - the belt tucked under the drape of the top and could not be seen. Having done all that I was pretty comfortable and happy with the look of the dress. I would still recommend this dress, but I would say that it's a little hard to predict how it will look on your particular body. I prefer to wear a dress that does not require Spanx.

Eye-catching piece but better for dressing up a casual dress.
I loved the design of this piece, but the metal felt somewhat cheap once I had it in my hands. Also, the petals move, the piece is not rigid. It's a nice touch, but they made a clanking sound. Ultimately I opted not to wear it. Would have been fun for a more low-key occasion than the fancy wedding I was at.

Great for a curvy figure
I loved wearing this dress. I was nervous that it would be too clingy and revealing of figure imperfections, but the fabric was heavy, thick and stretchy, with a beautiful drape. I do not have the flattest or firmest tummy or butt, but I was able to get away without wearing Spanx or tights. It is definitely a slinky Eva Longoria or Jennifer Lopez dress, in that it hugged my thighs and booty. But I felt great and enjoyed owning my curves. The swoop of fabric across the back is fabulous, and balanced out my butt. I loved the one-shoulder style, the draping is perfect over the bust, and there is enough fabric so you can adjust it to your taste. I was able to wear a regular bra and just tuck one strap down. The length was perfect with my three-inch heels. I got lots of compliments and felt red-carpet worthy. Didn't want to take it off!
