I rented this dress to wear to dinner with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Celebrating anything in a dress in December can be tricky and this time was no exception as we were in the midst of a freezing cold snap. This dress paired with thick leggings and all my winter gear kept me plenty warm. It was comfortable and had a good amount of stretch which came in handy as we feasted like kings and queens at our favorite upscale restaurant. The only downside to this dress was the some of that stretch had worn out in the top but not to the point of being scandalous for a smaller chested individual such as myself. All in all the dress was lovely, comfortable, and I couldn't beat the price (free courtesy of my birthday!).

Rented this to wear on an early fall evening date with my husband. I normally wouldn't rent a dress for a date night but it was to an upscale restaurant in our new hometown so I wanted to go the extra mile a bit. I loved this dress on the website and in person but sadly I was not able to wear this. To start it is pretty short and at 5' 2" that's saying something for me. Additionally it runs small so I couldn't get either size on comfortably. That said the folks at RTR were wonderful and credited me back the $$ I spent on this dress. It's that level of customer service (and the gorgeous clothes) that keep me coming back year after year.

This was my first time renting accessories through Rent the Runway and will definitely not be the last. The necklace arrived in its own box and has plenty of rungs so you can change the length to your preference. Since I'm on the chubby side I wore mine as loose as possible. The only downside to this is that it can start to feel heavy after its been worn for several hours. In any case I received tons of compliments and the necklace really helped pull my whole look together.

Like previous Trina Turk dresses I've worn in the past the sizes run a bit big so I was plenty comfortable in the 10 instead of my usual size of 12. This dress may be worn with a regular bra as everything is adequately covered. The top was a bit stretched out, likely from larger busted women wearing the dress previously but nothing that made the dress look ill-fitting. The pockets were a bonus and were well stocked with kleenex. All in all another excellent experience through Rent the Runway!

Rented this dress to wear to my husband's college graduation. I had previously rented another Lilly dress in the winter for a wedding we attended and was so pleased with it I knew I'd have to rent another. This dress is wonderful-comfortable and the colors just make you happy to look at. I rented both the 12 and 10 because the last Lilly ran large but this dress did run true to size. The only complaint I have with this dress is that I had to send it back. Perfect dress for graduations, weddings, bridal showers, or just for fun.

Rented this for a long overdue date night with the husband. The dress is really pretty but is not something I would rent again. This is the second Milly dress I have rented and both have run small. In other designer dresses I've rented I can comfortably go down a size but with Milly I'm lucky to even fit in my normal size. Not a dress I'd recommend if you are petite--while the length is ok the straps were very loose-fitting. Additionally the material of the dress is thin but sounds like wearing a raincoat when you walk. I did love the floral pattern on the dress though and the addition of pockets is great but a bit disappointing overall.

I rented this dress to wear as a guest to an after Christmas wedding and could not have been more happy with it. I ended up pairing it with a black cardigan since, even in South Carolina, winter tends to be a bit chilly. Love that the dress has pockets but the lace detail on the front and back is what won me over. The only accessory I wore were a pair of black and pearl earrings I picked up from Forever 21. This dress does run a bit large--I typically wear a 12 but the 10 just had a nicer, fitted look and I was still comfortable. Even though the dress is sleeveless it is a thicker material so it would work in the cooler months. My only regret with this dress is that I was having too much fun wearing it that I forgot to take a picture in it! ETA: I rented this dress again for a military function the husband and I attended last night and managed to get a picture. The dress was just as beautiful and comfortable as I remembered it. Once again it will be hard to send the dress back to its home at Rent the Runway.

I rented this dress to wear out for my husband and I's anniversary dinner. The dress was very comfortable and I loved the bow detail in the front. Probably should have saved this to rent during the spring or summer though--it's a heavier material but the color and feel are more suited to those seasons and not just after Christmas. The dress ran true to size and I had plenty of breathing/eating room (important for a dinner date night!). I did have an issue with the neckline not sitting right (the lining kept bunching out at the top) and there were some set in stains around the back of the neckline but nothing overtly noticeable. Overall a cute and easy to wear dress.

I rented this dress to wear to my husband's work Christmas party. Several of the reviews from previous renters mentioned the dress ran large so I rented both the large and the medium just in case. I ended up wearing the medium, which despite being a bit tight in the arms, was a much better fit overall and would suggest renting both your normal size and a size down if possible. This dress is very versatile-you could wear it to a formal event or on a date and be dressed just right. The only problem I had with the dress is that where the skirt on it starts just seemed a bit odd. It's probably because it just hit on me higher as I am petite but I could have easily covered that with a belt. The dress, while beautiful on its own, does need a bit of jewelry to make it look not so plain. I'm not a fan of big chunky necklaces so I went with a pair of earrings I found at Forever 21 to complete the look.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I ordered my usual size of 12 but got the 10 as a back up since most of the reviews said it ran large. I ended up wearing the 10 as it fit much better plus it's always a bonus to wear a dress smaller than you usually would. The lace did make the back a bit tough to zip up so you just have to be patient with it. Being on the chubby side I always dread events which require me to dress up I felt amazing in this dress and received tons of compliments.
