Bias cut dresses are not my friend
Pros: Fun print, neckline, length, pull-on styling, light-weight material Cons: Bias cut, no lining, kept sliding off one shoulder, fabric wrinkles, felt it ran large on my pear-shaped body, so ultimately was not as flattering as I would have liked I would not rent this again.

Shiny fabric- not a fan
Pros- flowy fabric Cons- ruffled hem made it more appropriate for an event, neckline a little deep for work, unlined, not well structured through the torso, short-waisted, and shiny, textured fabric. Would not rent again.

Renter beware: this dress runs one or two sizes too big. I just could not make it work. I was hopeful that once I added the belt I could pull it off, but that just made the extra fabric bunch and gather around my waist- not the look I was going for! I will probably rent it again, but try a 2 instead; the light to medium weight fabric has some give to it.

Pros: fit true to size, cute print with black and primary colors, knee length or longer depending on height, top can be worn on or off the shoulders depending on the setting Cons: unlined, smocked bust has a narrow ruffle that hits just below the breasts (but I had to pull the dress down frequently to keep it there) While cute, I don't plan to rent again.

Pros: beautiful tailoring, interesting pleated arms, high-quality and heavy fabric, and full lining Cons: too dressy for work; ran larger than expected, so did not wear; could possibly have gotten by with a size 4; arm seams cut into the shoulder which enlarged the appearance of my upper arms- not a deal breaker, just an observation

I regretted my decision to ignore the reviews that said the arms of this dress were tight. While trying the dress on, it fit flawlessly over my pear-shaped lower body, but did not fit over my arms and shoulders. Read: not even close! I lift weights several times a week, but trust me, I am not a hulk by any stretch of the imagination! In the end, I was sincerely disappointed as I had rented it for a trip to NYC where I could have easily worn it once or twice.
