Pros: I felt gorgeous. It's a stunning, bright red color, the cut made me look curvy (and I am not a curvy girl), the boning in the top of the dress was supportive though I did wear a strapless bra, it fit perfectly as far as length went (I'm 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels with the regular dress), and I received so many compliments. It was tight enough to stay up but not so tight that I couldn't breathe. It did not fall down at all, which was tested with all the dancing I did at prom. It is sexy without being trashy and can make probably anyone look like Jessica Rabbit. If this is your first rental, I've rented dresses for my major events for the past two years now and they are always beautiful, fit well if you read the reviews and the stylist notes so you know what it fits like, and are always, always on time. Do not worry about renting. It's a seamless process and has been amazing every time. Last note about the dress: I've been to three proms and I felt the most beautiful, comfortable, sexy, and confident in this gown than any others. Cons: Overall, it was a really beautiful dress, so these things should be noted as minor issues for me personally. I am usually a 2 but always get a 4 when I rent to be safe and I needed it this time. In fact, I wish I had gotten a 4 and a 6 because the draping on one hip did not look like it had on the model, even after I'd steamed the dress to get rid of any wrinkles. Granted, I'm no twig but I'm certainly not heavy, so I was hoping the draping would have been more flattering though it was flattering enough. It is not hot on its own, but if planning a lot of dancing in a big room, the lack of a slit in the dress creates this column of heat within the dress. Or maybe I'm just really gross and sweaty. It's narrow in the waist which was fine for me but could be an issue. Had I not worn heels the dress would have been far too long. OVERALL RENT IT. YOU WILL LOOK AMAZING.

The dress is really beautiful. It's an amazing color, more purple than in the picture. I wore it to my homecoming dance. Everyone said it looked great. Definitely a sexy, stylish dress without being tight and trashy. The boob situation was easy as I was able to get away with a bra with a bit more of a plunge to the neckline than the usual bra, but didn't have to buy the U plunge bra like I was expecting. I think black shoes look best with this and I personally wore black pointed toe suede pumps. It ran true to size for the most part, but the top was a little more snug than usual. I opted for my usual size that was a little snugger because the skirt looked better. The skirt isn't as full as some of the pictures may lead you to believe. It is just as full as on the model. The length was definitely a non issue. It came to my mid thigh and I'm 5'6". The fabric is a brocade, so it isn't very light but it's not terribly warm either. Overall, hands down would recommend. It was a gorgeous dress for an amazing night.

I wore this dress to the senior prom. Being that I'm an underclassman I have to wear a short dress (as goes tradition at our school) and was really struggling to find a dress formal enough for the event that wasn't a long gown. I love classic looks and this was just so perfect. When the dress came (right on time too) I have to admit the tulle was a little wrinkled, but I just took a hot shower and left the dress in the bathroom and the wrinkles came right out. The skirt isn't overwhelming and I got so many compliments on the dress. It fit really, really well. The top is this sort of bodycon feel, and the skirt has a wide waistband underneath the tulle that fits really snugly in a good way. The only fit issues were really that because the neckline is a little low, my bra peeked out on occasion. As far as what bra you can wear, it has to be a balconette bra, no exceptions. I'd recommend a push up because it just looks great with the dress. The second fit issue was that the back of the dress seemed to big, but I'd imagine that's because I'm pretty flat. I ordered a size 4 to be safe but the 2 ended up being perfect, so if you're going to order an extra size I'd say go smaller than your normal size. Overall, it was very, very stylish. I got so many compliments the entire evening. Shipping it back was a total breeze. It was my first rental and I'm really looking forward to renting so much more.
