The dress is your typical shift dress. I would say you could even wear it to a shower or similar affair. I was very comfortable.

This dress is perfect for work or other day time events. Very comfortable, great fit, not easily wrinkled. I'd definitely rent again.

Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8. I should have stuck with the 6 because the front zippers allow for ease on putting on and taking off. Great work dress and you can wear out if you go right after work.
