Rented the 12R and it fit and zipped easily without assistance. The bottom of the dress was incredibly fun and frilly while being forgiving and comfortable. The black band around the rib cage is snug but not too tight. I sent it back without wearing because the front is low, and I'm not comfortable going braless to a wedding where I know I will be drinking and dancing. I also didn't want to go buy a special bra or cutlets for the occasion. Wearing Veronica Beard Amal dress instead.

The sweater was perfect with the skirt combo - highly recommend renting both pieces for the ensemble look. If you're renting one bold piece, why not get both. The turtleneck height was comfortable. It was pretty warm overall. The ribbed sleeves were a little stretched out after the second wear. It is not long, but I did wear it untucked with jeans too and it didn't feel cropped.

Runs a little big - I'm currently wearing size 31 jeans and mostly size 12 pants, but this was for a work event so I didn't need a tight skirt and the XL worked. It definitely has a A line shape and was longer on me than it appears on the model. Very fun print, but I didn't hold onto it to re-wear because the waistband was sort of folded and rolled when I tried it on after the first wear.

Five stars! Perfect midi length. The details were all beautiful without being "too much" - embroidery, velvet bow, some black sequins, and tulle. You will want to steam the tulle. You may need help zipping, but the chest and waist were a little big on me so I could twist it around and get it on by myself. Would accommodate bigger chest (I'm around a 38C) easily. Easy to dance in, too! Highly recommend for cocktail party or wedding.

The XL fit true to size - I am a 31/32 in pants, 12/14 in dresses and a large in tops. The thick knit fabric is beautiful but it was just too dang tight for my liking. I could never wear something that snug with my curves to my modest job in higher education fundraising. If you are at all conscious about your stomach or poochiness, pass on this dress. If you are tall and slender GO FOR IT. Definitely a seasonal wear, too. Perfect for fall - would be too heavy for summer.

I was nervous that it might run a little small, but I think the 12 was true to size. I needed help getting it zipped because the satin waistband has NO give. I thought the top was appropriately snug to keep everything in place. I'm a 36C and didn't need a bra - I did wear the nipple petals because I had them already as a "just in case" but definitely thick enough lining on the chest that it's not required. The skirt is actually a wonderful double layer thick jersey - did not cling or show lumps and was comfy to dance in. Wore a simple pair of spanx briefs. Only complaint was that some of the threads on the lace are coming undone - obvious wear and tear on the dress.

Loved the length, color, and sophistication of this dress. The self-fabric sash was very pretty. I did have a little bit of difficulty "hiding" the top of my Spanx because they had to sit at the right place on my hips because the opening in the back is larger than it appears on the model, but other than that it is a very flattering and forgiving fabric. The back opening was probably an 8" triangle instead of 4" as it appears on the model, but I could still wear a normal bra. Definitely true to size. I wore a Bauble Bar necklace with it, and it was perfect. Definitely need some sort of statement necklace, because otherwise the front is fairly plain.

I didn't think it was too low cut, but the slit was completely unacceptable. I was trying the size smaller than I should have ordered, but still how the dress fit my hips made the slit pull open and expose most of my legs up to high thigh. I did think the beaded belt was very pretty, and the material was nice. I would size up for your backup size.

The dress is beautiful, but I thought it was just WAY too tight and clingy on my booty/stomach area. The top detailing is very pretty, and I thought the v-neck was appropriately sexy without feeling like I would need to use dress tape. I would have wanted to size up to make the bottom less clingy, but unfortunately I didn't order the 12, so I went with another dress in my order for the event.
