True to size and really pretty
I wear a 2 or 4 with my waist as my largest measurement. The 4 fit perfectly and I liked the length on me. I'm only 5'1 so it can be hard to judge. The bottom definitely adds some volume, but I thought it was flattering with the fitted waist

I liked this dress a lot. I wore my usually size and didn't need a bra with the fabric being thick and supportive enough. Would rent again!

Unique dress, petite friendly
This dress is very fitted in the waist. I'm usually a 2 or 4 with my waist being my biggest measurement and the medium fit really well. The small was just too small that I couldn't get the zip to go. The straps are almost comically long, but the are heavy enough that they balanced on my shoulders. The dress is fitted, so I didn't need them to hold it up anyway. I'm sure you could use pins to keep them in place, but I didn't bother. A good option for short people!

Loved the back!
I had an appointment and rented this dress at the store in DC. However, once I got home, I panicked that this dress wasn't modest enough with the open back and high slit for my event (brother's wedding including Catholic Mass) and started looking for a backup dress so I could decide once I got them. I ended up choosing the other dress, but would definitely rent this dress for a different event. RTR was so helpful with my dilemma and helped me choose a 2nd dress option - best customer service! The open back felt really sexy and the fit was comfortable (very stretchy) and flattering. I normally wear a 2 (sometimes 0, sometimes 4 depending on the dress), but the 4P fit perfectly in length with 3.5" heels and it clings to the body, but stretches so it's very comfortable. The color is great as well - I'd recommend this dress so long as modesty isn't a concern.

So flattering!
I wore this to my brother's wedding in May. I wore it during a Catholic Mass and to the reception and it was appropriate for both. The cutouts felt appropriate even in church (they were my biggest concern!) The dress was the perfect length with my 3.5-4" heels, which was another concern since I'm only 5'1". I wore 2.5" heels for church and the dress was dragging a bit, but nothing that looked strange or I would trip over. The back made it difficult to wear a bra, so I just skipped the bra entirely since the fabric at the top was thick and my bust is small. I felt so elegant and thought the dress was extremely flattering for a petite figure. I'm so happy I took the risk because I received a ton of compliments. I would love to own this dress and definitely recommend for anyone on the fence. Thanks RTR for suggesting this dress!
