I felt like a million bucks!
So i rented this dress and it was unfortunaely too long on my petite body (even with the highest heels i could stand - 3-4 inches), but the compliments i received were enormous! I was nervous that this wouldnt feel classy enough for my spouse's military ball, but it ended being ok so I perked it up with classy accessories. I did my beat with the boob area but aince i dont have a lot of boobs, i could not keep my boobs/tape/dress in place and delt very self-conscious, but ultimately the lasies stayed in place. The fabric has some stretch throughout, just wish that a petite had been available and one size smaller.

Great dress that was really comfortable!
So I fortunately ended up wearing the 6 petite and it was perfect with a 3 inch heel. It was stretchy and had a nice give in the belly area along eith extra fabric/design. I loved the dress and ended up taking this photo and placing it on thr christmas card last year! Since no one ever gives actual measurements, I always do so you can truly see the fit feom that day: Weight: 129.4 lbs Chest: 30.3" Waist: 28.5" Tummy: 33" Hips: 36" Butt: 37"

I am 5'2 on a good day and this dress was SHORT on me. It was too short without even wearing shoes and the fit wasn't flattering on my body type. My true complaint was how short the gown was as I ordered the 8R and maybe received a petite size? Not sure.

Love love love and fit like a glove!
The fit was spot on. I'm 135/137, 5'3 and the size 8 fit me perfectly (barely right) at the waist (waist measured around 29 inches to give you some exact measurement). The dress length fit right at my knees which was great, and the back barely touched the ground when wearing 2-3in. heels. It fit wonderfully for me (along with the tone it up slim down for a few days prior). It was comfortable and did not need a bra (but I wore pasties still since it was a military ball). Loved the dress and got a ton of compliments that day. It was fun and carefree and easy to move in and sit most of the night. Enjoy it!

Not for me
This was a backup dress and it just wasnt flattering in an athletic body. If i was flat all around, there wouldnt have been any pulling in random areas.

Beautiful gown! Ended up going with the 8R over the 6T because of my broad broad athletic back. Tough to find gowns that have a bit of stretch to accommodate my broad back. This gown was long on me (5,3; 3 inch heels) and the bottom of the gown is A LOT of gown. It lays flat while walking but once you sit it's A LOT of gown. So much fabric on the bottom ye be warned. It's a lot to hold up considering it was long to begin with. This gown was beautiful for the occasion and not as shiny as the photo depicts. The sequins were not too much and for a military event, I was worried about that. Gorgeous dress that wasn't overpowering standing next to my husband for his military ball.

The dress was beautiful and the 8R fit well, the only issue I had was that because I'm 5'3 the cutouts felt more revealing than they look on a 5'10 model. The true reason I couldn't wear this dress was the zipper in the back. With the semi-stretchy fabric, the zipper would not sit flat. Instead it would bunch and move around like a snake in the back. I have an athletic build, with hips, and I filled out the stretch on the bottom and thus that is why I feel the zipper did not sit well on my body type. Fortunately RTR sent me Another dress overnight that arrived around 9:30am the day of and sat online with me to find a stretchy dress that would accommodate my body type and in the two sizes I needed :) awesome customer service!
