I felt awesome, sexy and stylish. Dress the Population rarely disappoints.

The charity event’s theme was gold and I was in the mood for something different from the standard long dress. I went with this romper from Dress the Population because they usually incorporate stretch into their fabrics which, not only makes the outfit more comfortable, it eliminates some of the risk when renting an outfit. I’m 6’0” and wear a 8/10. I ordered a M and L and the M fit perfectly. I also liked this style because it doesn’t have a waist seam which tend to ride too high on me with my a-little-bit-longer-waist. This was spot-on. The inseam was (I’m trying to remember what the specs cited in the description) 3”, not too short, just right to show off your legs. The sleeves could have been 1/2” longer to suit me perfectly but I don’t think anyone noticed. Bottom line, I got a ton of compliments. I was confident and felt sexy all night. Make sure and wear killer 4” heels to slay this look!

What a Relief - it's PERFECT!

My first attempt at ordering from RTR. I was worried about the fit. The description said that maybe I'd need to order up a size due to tight bust (I'm usually a 10). I'm a 34D and size 10 was perfect. The bust fit wonderfully as did the rest of the dress. I'm 6'0" and it hit a little below my knee cap. The dress arrived yesterday, my event is tomorrow - now I can relax and know that I will look great! I only wish that I could order a long gown but based on my conversations with Fit Specialist, they will all be too short. Sigh. ....Maybe there could be a FEW options for me on RTR sometime??!! POST EVENT REVIEW*** The dress wore well except that it slid around from center a bit all evening. I had to discreetly twist it back. Something I also have never seen before so forgive me if I'm naive, but there was a super long second side zipper inside the dress - I thought it must be a spare if the other one broker or something. Duh. I finally figured out that it was there to cinch in the under-the-bust area tighter, which made a nice difference in the fit of the chest area.

Close but no cigar

I ordered two dresses (2 sizes each) for a recent event. While I love this dress in the pic, it wasn't as complimentary on me as I wanted (I wore the second style I rented - which I loved). I ordered size 10 and 8 since the Fit said it ran big. The 8 DID fit better than the 10. I'm tall - 6'0" - and this dress was a tad short in my waist. And the sides of the top at the bust gaped a little. I'm 34D so it wasn't that I didn't fill it out, I just think it was how it fit me. The pics posted of the other girls who reviewed the dress don't show the gaping like on me, so maybe it was just me. The back was pretty but not as loose as the model shown. The length was good - a little shorter than the model shown since I'm 2 inches taller. All and all, I could have worn this if I had to but since I had a better fitting option, I went with the other.
