Wore this out to dinner and dancing for a friend's bachelorette and felt amazing! It was a little tight when sitting (and eating copious amounts of chips and guac and margaritas) but it was worth it. I received so many compliments!

I was fortunate enough to have two bridal showers thrown for me I wore this one for the second, knowing it was going to be more of a formal and traditional shower. (FYI I wore the Kate Spade Bow Tie dress for my other shower and LOVED it). This dress is sophisticated and comfortable. The length was dress for having to sit in a chair and open gifts in front of people - I definitely didn't want something that would be short and ride up, this stayed put and I felt very ladylike. The waist cinches in beautifully and I felt very tall and long. A few other reviews said it had room in the chest but I found the opposite. I'm a large B/small C and thought it was pretty tight in the chest - though, still perfectly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this dress for a fun but classy event.

Such a fun, playful, girly dress - absolutely perfect for my bridal shower. I was able to sit and open gifts without adjusting or pulling it down, because the pleated skirt fell over my knees. But when I was standing, the dress is short enough that I could show some leg. It was tight enough in the chest that I didn't need a bra and the open back was a fun, sexy little detail. The 6 fit perfectly, but did need a little help with the zipper. I would definitely recommend this dress - it's comfortable, flattering, sexy, girly, and fun! I got SO many compliments. Happy renting!

Ended up not wearing it and returning it right away for 'store' credit. I've worn Shoshanna dresses like this in the past and they were way more flattering. This one is tight on the ribs but doesn't give much of a waist... and then also seems to make lovehandles even bigger.

This dress definitely runs big - I'm normally between a 6 and an 8 in designer dresses and after reading the reviews, I rented sizes 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 4. I tried on the 4 first and it fit really well at the bust and at the waist but it was very short (at least for me). I hoped the 6 would remedy this, but the only difference was that the 6 was a little boxier and not nearly as slimming and flattering as the 4... but just as short. For reference, I am 5'7.5" So if length is not an issue for you, definitely go with the smaller size. The dress was short when I was standing up, but once I sat down to dinner it was borderline inappropriate (thank god for the napkin in the lap!). I was so self-conscious that halfway thru the event I ended up going back to my room and changing into my backup dress.
