I loved this dress. I wore it out for a nice dinner in Vegas, and it was perfect. The pattern mixing was fun, and it has a great soft drape. I wore a push-up bra, which was the right move. It does not have any support, so going bra-less is not an option (I’m a 38DD/ 40D for reference). Generally I’m a 16 in non-designer, and could probably have worn either the 16 or 18 here. I rented the 18, and it was a little loose in the stomach area, but that was actually perfect to feel comfortable while at dinner. The high/low came to about mid-thigh, and down to ankle length in the back (I’m 5’9). It’s a great dress, and I’d definitely recommend!

I loved everything about this dress. The material is a thick crochet-type lace overlay on a navy blue lining. The dress has a great weight to it, and a beautiful little twirly mermaid hem. I am generally a 16 in ready to wear (like Ann Taylor), and the 16 here fit beautifully. It hugged all the right places, but was still very comfortable to wear all night at a wedding. I didn’t have to wear a bra, which was great, since straps would be hard to hide and a strapless might show as it’s a little low cut, but in a good way. Im a 38DD/ 40D right now, for reference. I’m 5’9, and loved the length. Shorter gals could wear it, but it would be more of a maxi instead of tea length. Overall it made me feel like a million bucks, and I’d absolutely rent again!

I didn’t end up wearing this. It’s pretty, and fits true to size. The material is thick and has good stretch. I’d rented for vacation with a pair of pants, but didn’t like the proportions on me. With the right pairing it would be cute, but didn’t work for me this time.

I typically wear an 18 RTR, and a 16 in non-designer (Ann Taylor, etc.). This dress was too big in the 18. The underarms gapped, the waist was much too large, and the included belt ended up down around my hips. The 16 definitely would have been a better fit, but I swapped their belt for a skinny black leather belt of my own so I could cinch in the waist, and it looked great for a one-night wear, since the dress is supposed to be flowy and the excess fabric wasn't too noticeable. I'm 5'9, and it was a perfect length with 2 inch block heels. Shorter gals would need very high shoes or it would drag. The dress is linen, and has beautiful hang and movement. I wore it to a girls night at the theater, and I'd definitely rent again in a smaller size!
