The workhorse of my SOF vacay

I loved this dress! I wore to a summer beach club dinner date. However, the top is basically like a bodice/corset so if you’re big chested, be warned your girls will be front and center!

Stunning color makes up for weird fit
This dragonfly green color is just so gorgeous, paired with the draping you feel like a Greek goddess. The bodice is a little odd though, in my opinion. The wrap part dips down in the middle instead of straight across, which comes off unflattering and straps were long even when adjusted to minimize the length. Great option for a one time wear though! Got so many compliments.

Elegant conundrum
This a beautiful, soft, warm sweater dress. However you have to figure out what way you want to wear it as it is reversible. I did the v to the back. Also there is some interesting draping so plan on wearing with a belt to give it some shape!

Cool print, just too long
I’d had my eye on this dress for a while and ended up renting it for a trip down to FL. The material is a nicely lined silky material that does wrinkle so be prepared to steam. Like others have said, the dress is long so plan on wearing high heels with it. Also one of the appealing features of this dress was the ability to wear a regular bra underneath, but that was negated by how wide the arm holes were cut.

Cute but challenging to style
I liked this sweater dress but it felt a little frenetic, like I didn’t know quite how or where to wear it. To work with boots (but definitely too short when you take into account the see-through lace layer)? With heels and castanets to a flamenco dance? I just didn’t feel like I could quite land this one.

When I saw this on the hanger I thought to myself, oh no, you’ve made an error in judgment BUT once I tried it on, it stretched out in all the right ways, giving a tailored look that didn’t feel constructing. The contrast lines upgraded the piece to give it a little interest, too!

Weird fit but tried to make it work
As others have said, the sizing is odd with this number. I found it to be big on top (necessitating the white blouse underneath) and a smidge too tight/short on the bottom. One of the sequins on the hem got a directive from hell to scratch my leg all day long. This just wasn’t personally a home run for me, and that’s okay!

Solid date night top
For those of us born in the 1900s, this top harkens back to a time when jeans and a going out top was the pinnacle of fashion. When I put on the stretchy, meshy top with the abstract rose print, I felt transported back to my days of shopping at Bebe and Express. The best thing about this top for me was the nostalgia it evoked and the quiet irony of being a nearly 40 year old mom of two wearing something my sophomore self would have donned in college. Other than that, it’s a pretty unremarkable top.

Wore this out to dinner at a fancy hotel in the dead of winter. Matched my glass of Bordeaux perfectly! Dress is fully lined, except for sleeves, which were a bit tight and scratchy. Could not get the belt centered, and that triggered my OCD. Otherwise a classy, timeless option!
