wanted to love this but why so cropped
when I first got this I thought I wouldnt be able to wear it bc it was so see through. fortunately when you put it on it is fine, however it is still very cropped so jot work appropriate unless you wear super high waisted trousers. I wanted to love this because its so. breathable but it was a flop :(

I'm not a pink girly so RTR came to the rescue with this dress. This was long so I had to wear 5in heels to keep it from dragging. If the dress code calls for pink, I'll definitely revisit this number

I’m a true 26.5w and thought I could swing the 27. too tiny. immediately sized up and fell in love. it’s a true 4 season piece. you 100% should buy if you’re short like me, it grazes the ankle bone in flats. obsessed and bought it on the spot with the spring discount :,)

wore this to a conference. really nice quality, my own critique is that majority of the buttons are faux so you have to pull this on over your head. also very thick material so definitely an early fall/early spring dress

super flattering but wish the zipper was placed differently
I love these pants but my main complaint is how annoying it is to wear a belt with these pants. since the zipper is on the hip rather than a normal fly zipper (down the front), you have to essentially take off the belt in order to take your pants off which is kind of a pain. also without platforms or heels these pants drag on the ground. wish they had petite sizing. otherwise TTS… im a true 27in waist and the 2R fit great

I adore this dress. I will point out that the arms in the green style of this dress are SIGNIFICANTLY tighter than the black style. that being said, if you have muscles maybe opt for black instead? the slit is not too high and this is such a great day-to-night transition piece. easily dress up or down

perfect office coat
I adore this coat and I guess so do a lot of other people in NYC! I’ve seen fellow RTRs rocking this coat all winter. the wrap is an awesome feature as you can make it as tight or as loose as you wish. my only complaint is how long the sleeves are but if you cuff them it’s totally fine!

rented once and had to take advantage of the sale!
managed to grab this for a good deal so had to add to the work closet. i will say it does show everythiiiiing so its best to get it more fitted and bodycon otherwise it’ll make you look chunky given the way it hangs. I am usually a small in this brand but opted for the xs for those style and didnt regret it. not sure how cool it will be in the summer but I wore it on a random 80+ degree day and didnt overheat terribly

would prob rent again if I need to fill a slot but would size down
picked this as a back up to my original pick for this corporate event I had because it’s been frigid in nyc. day of the event it was 30 with a real feel in the teens so I opted for this instead. I have been burned by going smaller and the fit suggestion was like 83% and I was concerned about the fit across my shoulders and biceps. this dress is really stretchy and forgiving but the side access zipper made this fit looser (???). tried to wear a belt but it made the excess fabric more noticeable. if you’re smaller chested like me but have broad shoulders… size down.

if you have thighs don’t bother
these are lined with shorts…? I felt like a sausage in casing after zipping these up. if you are curving on the bottom and have a small waist you’re going to burn a slot on what feels like the equivalent of a straight jacket for your lower half. that being said…if you’re not muscular or curvy and are a size 26/27 you’ll probably be fine. they were not itchy and had stretch but the shorts lining were really stiff (and unnecessary). rent at your own risk

looked better on the model. thought it was drapey but turns out it’s more structured and really tight. the arm hole for the sleeveless portion was too big so I had to tuck some of the shirt into my bra band to make it more appropriate. wouldn’t wear it/rent it again
