This dress is gorgeous. I wore it to a black tie gala. Definitely stands out in a sea of black dresses and more traditional formal wear. Many compliments. Im 5'9" and wore 3.5" heels and in the long length the back was just barely above the floor. I had on stilettos and the dress did get caught a couple times on my heels. Just keep in mind to still lift the dress a little when you walk even though the front is shorter. It was incredibly comfortable the entire night, standing, dancing, sitting. No wrinkles after hours of sitting. It is fitted and not black so the little bit of stomach I️ have was showed a little but it wasn't too much. I didn't wear (or feel like i needed) spanx. Some dresses draw attention to that area but this one does not. I wore a regular nude strapless bra and it worked well. Some have said top was a little loose, I didn't think so at all. I'm a 36B and the dress fit well and hugged curves in all the right ways. Overall I would definitely recommend and rent again!

The dress fits nicely, very flattering. It is absoluetly NECESSARY to have the right under garments like other people state. I recommend getting the dress a day or two earlier than you normally would so you can try it on and go shopping to buy something appropriate. The fabric is very thin so it will show your typical spanks/underwear lines/and cottage cheese if you have it. As far as fit, I am a 36B and the top portion fit a little losser than I would have liked. It didn't feel loose but when I would look in the mirror throughout the night I would notice you could see the top portion of my bra on the back just slightly, so i'd keep pulling it up in the back. If I had gotten the dress earlier and tried it on like i recommend, I would have purchased a strapless bra with a little bit of padding and that would have solved the problem completely. But all in all it was a beautiful dress, I got lots of compliments. I am 5'9", I wore 3 inch heels and the dress was the perfect length for me.

I wore these with the Halston Heritage Cold as Ice Gown and the Lulu Frost Gold Driff Cuff and it looked wonderful. They are glamorous but because they're clear they're not too much. They pair lovely with a simple dress because they are attention grabbing. They are a little heavy but not uncomfortably so. However I was dancing and one of my earrings fell off. so I would recommend if you have a nice of dancing planned that you wear lighter earrings or some for pierced ears.

It's very nice. sparkly but tasteful, not TOO much. I wore it with Kenneth Jay Lane Polished Crystal Drop Earrings and it complimented them well. It was a little heavier than i expected but not uncomfortable. i would rent it again for the right look.
