I wore this dress to a friend's winter wedding. I received many, many compliments on the dress. I initially was attracted to it because it had longish sleeves, knowing that I would want more coverage since it is so cold in February. The sleeves are a lace material, though, which dresses it up a bit, which I really liked. And I didn't need a shawl! I also liked the flirty skirt on the bottom--it was more fun than just a sheath. Additionally, the material was soft and a little stretchy, which was very comfortable. An all-around winner.

I really liked the beautiful gold-shimmery color of the dress. I wore it to a black-tie dinner with black heels (as shown in the picture) and statement earrings. This dress is not forgiving though. It is pretty form-fitting and because the fabric has no stretch and is very thin, the dress shows every imperfection in the mid-section that you might want to hide. I would recommend spanx or sizing up if you have this concern. Additionally, because the fabric is so thin and has zero stretch, I noticed some pulling on the seams from previous wear. By the end of the evening (which was only a few hours), one of the seams had torn slightly on the side at the very bottom where it was not even tight. All in all, this was a nice dress but I was not wowed.

I rented this for a formal work event. It was not formal enough, so I went with my first choice. However, I really liked this dress and would have liked to wear it to a more casual event. Very comfortable, but still figure flattering.

I wanted to wear this dress to a black-tie dinner. The size two dress fit fine but was slightly looser than I would prefer to wear to an event. I thought the fabric hanging off the side was slightly odd and could not figure out what to do with it. I am more of a classic girl and this did not fit the bill.
