Rented this maybe 3 days before the event I was attending. I read the reviews and decided a S or XS, but I would definitely have preferred the M. I am 5’8, 130~, slim/athletic build. I got plenty of compliments on the unusual cut and detailing, which was great! I paired with black accessories. If you have a little bit in the hip region, I would say get the next size up since the bottom material is not forgiving.

Honestly, this dress is amazing. I wore to an evening wedding in the fall and as soon as I walked in, received so, so many compliments and multiple people asked where it was from. The sleeves have a slit and flow nicely, and the back has two ties so you can adjust the neck area as needed. I wore with a stick on bra since it would be difficult to hide a strap in the back, and gold shoes. The long was a good length for my height in 2/3” heels, but do wish I would have ordered the 0 since I did have a little bit of room. The only downside is there is no slit at the bottom so walking and stairs are a bit tricky.

I ordered the 2R and 4R for a black tie event. I knew from other reviews that it was sometimes too long so wore 2.5ish nude heels. I’m 5’8 and the train was the perfect length but front maybe a little short with that height heel. I had also read that the front can chafe which is absolutely true! As far as fit, I’m 120-125, slim, athletic and the 2R definitely fit better but since there’s no stretch(!!) I felt more comfortable in the 4 and dealt with the little bit of looseness.
