I ordered two other dresses from RTR for a wedding and neither fit or looked great on. I was so happy to see this dress still available to rent. I'd previously worn to an event in 2017, so I knew it would fit. It's a beautiful cobalt blue color, which looks especially nice on someone with light skin and dark hair - jewel tones always do. I received compliments all night and felt beautiful! The 4 fit, but I ended up wearing the 6 due to the cut out and thought the 6 was better for dancing and eating and drinking!

A medium might have worked, but only a large was available, so I ordered it, along with another dress just in case, well, turns out it was much too big. I'm 5'6" and the waist hit low and made me look much larger than I am. As mentioned, the top was large and the tie straps seem like they would have been a gigantic pain. The picture makes the fabric on this dress look really nice and upscale and it was not that at all. Might be ok for a more casual event, but if you're looking for a cocktail dress for an evening wedding, this is not it.

Would not recommend to anyone with even the slightest bigger hips/butt. The color was great but the dress did not look great on my pear shaped body. Even with spanx, it was still tight around my mid-section and hips. If you have a straight figure or small hips/butt, you might like this. The tie at the top I wasn't loving either, even though the top fit. Beautiful color, weird fit. I would pick a different dress if you're on the fence about this.
