As others described, the dress runs small. I went with my backup size of 10. (For reference, I typically range in dresses from 4-8 depending on the brand.) I found the length and the slit to be appropriate, but I covered up my lap when sitting in church! The dress has a little stretch, but not much. I did wear spanx underneath. Beautiful emerald color. Would definitely rent again!

I wore this for a girls' night out in the city - I typically am pretty modest but felt very comfortable in this dress. I fit into the 4 but the 6 was more forgiving on my hips (true pear). The slit is very high but I felt comfortable with how it is placed. I loved the neckline and racerback and really wish I owned this dress! I can't recommend it enough.

I tried this on in-store when my planned dress didn't work. I didn't think I could pull off something like this but I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. The lines of the dress are so flattering. I am a pretty true pear but am pretty athletic and this accentuated my back, shoulders, and arms well. I wish I'd had spanx for the evening but I felt great in the dress and would wear it again. I don't know that it was ideal for the wedding, but I would definitely wear it again for an appropriate occasion.
