I was looking for a nice dress to chaperone a dance (I'm a high school English teacher). This Marilyn high low dress was absolutely perfect! The top is a comfy and stretchy material that is plenty thick- I wore a regular bra. The skirt is just stunning- even more so in person than online. I received so many compliments!! The cherry on top was the fact that the dress has pockets! So easy to carry my phone and lip gloss without a clunky purse. I typically wear an 18 in dresses, and have ordered with RTR in the past. Usually, most RTR dresses run tight, so I chose the 20 and 22 as my backup size. I wish I would have stuck with my regular 18 size. While the 20 fit, it was definitely roomy and I would have been more comfortable in the 18. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a classy and modest dress!

I was looking for a dress that was at least cocktail dressy, but not too revealing. I love this red lace dress! Based on other reviews, I ordered my typical size and 1 size up. I ended up wearing the larger size (though both fit), but my regular size showed a little too much curve for my taste. The lace is beautiful and heavy- I didn't have any problems with holes or snags. The dress is lined, but I still wore shapewear underneath. I was a little apprehensive about the lace arms (no stretch), but my bigger arms fit just fine with room to spare. Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Rent the Runway, and this dress in particular!
