Fun, flattering dress
This dress was nicely fitted, but I have a pretty short torso and larger chest so it ended up being a little more low-cut than I would have preferred (although I was able to get by on pulling it up throughout the night). I didn't wear a bra with it but any strapless bra should work. The lace is stretchy so it hides flaws and is easy to dance in! Overall it's a very comfortable dress and I would rent it again!

It's a nice dress but the earrings made the outfit!
I rented this dress for my prom because it was the only one I'd been interested in trying on when I was in the showroom (I was in from out of town). It's very simple, which I like, even though I was initially looking for something more exciting. I rented the "Yours to Keep" emerald earrings to go with this dress and I think it really made the outfit. As far as fit goes, this does run really small and the sash at the waist hits in kind of an awkward place, so I'd recommend spanx - the material is also clingy so that's pretty much the only form of underwear that won't show anyway. Overall, this wasn't a "wow" dress but it was a good classic look.

Lovely dress but a little big
First I want to emphasize two things other customers said that are really very very true: 1. This is dress is so dark blue it really does almost look black in pictures and 2. The inner hanging strap on the side without the shoulder tends to pop out all the time so make sure to tape or pin it or something so it isn't bothersome. I am normally a 0, with varying success, and this dress was very large on me - enough where I could pull out the side and have over 1-2 inches of free space. That being said, the material is not very stretchy so don't overestimate that when sizing either. I think another factor for me was that the strap was a little long on my short torso. However, I wore it anyway and overall it was a good experience. I even recommended RTR to a stranger who asked where my dress was from. ;)

Nice dress, but not for ladies with a short torso
I rented this dress as a backup but figured I should still review it so people can learn from my experience. I have a really short torso and larger bust so the top kind of smashed everything in an unflattering way. The ruching around the stomach also actually ended up giving me more tummy than I actually have, which is probably related to the whole torso thing. Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice dress and I really like the weight of the fabric but the fit is not for someone with my body type. The fit is on the smaller side; I usually wear a 0 and the 0R was very snug
