If you're looking for a Navy blue dress, this isn't it.
Judging by the photo on the website, I thought this dress would be more Navy blue in color than it actually was. It was fine for work (hence the bathroom selfie I took at work). My husband said I looked "matronly" that day. Def won't be renting again.

Loved the color!
This was probably one of my favorite rentals. I love the neckline and (very bright) color. The dress is sort of baggy (in a good way) so it's easy to move/breathe and I didn't have to wear Spanx. I'd definitely rent it again!

Stunning dress! I wish I took more photos!
This was my backup dress after the one I originally ordered became unavailable. That said, I'm glad I ended up with this one! The dress was a little snug around my ribcage, but I was able to get the zipper up (obviously). I'm 5'6" and was able to wear the 8L (my only length option) without tripping over myself thanks to my 5" heels. I'd definitely go for the regular length next time. If you're on the fence about this dress, stop vacillating and rent this dress already!

This dress was stunning! My date couldn't take his eyes off me. :)
I'm glad I rented a backup size. I've worn Hervé Léger in a size small in the past (the Color of Love sheath...probably my favorite rental), but ended up going with the medium for this one. Also, bodycon dresses aren't that conducive to dancing. I had to keep on pulling the skirt down while on the dancefloor, but that's a small drawback for an otherwise fabulous dress!

That neckline! Unfortunately, not for those with small derrières.
I loved the color and style of this dress! Unfortunately, borrowing the infamous words of Sir Mix-A-Lot, I have a small butt, and I cannot lie. Because my rump is on the flatter (rather than fuller) side, the fabric in the back wasn't completely stretched out, and the zipper took on an awkward shape. Not flattering, like, AT ALL. HOWEVER, my sister (who was genetically blessed with more curves; pictured), WAS able to wear the dress, and looked absolutely STUNNING! Seriously. That neckline. For me, this is definitely the dress that got away.

It was fun turning heads on the Santa Monica Pier. I felt like a celebrity for a day!
I originally wanted to wear this dress to another semi-formal event I had that weekend, but ended up wearing my backup dress (the Kate Spade Mademoiselle dress) to the event. However, I loved this dress so much that I ended up just wearing it sightseeing around Los Angeles. I liked the simple elegance of the dress: classy and conservative. The length was perfect. The white is actually more off-white in person, so take note of that if you're looking for a pure black-and-white dress. The patent belt was a nice touch, and was easily adjustable (which was convenient, especially after eating Sunday brunch). I'd definitely recommend this dress to a friend!

The color was even more vibrant in person! Absolutely stunning.
I needed a dress for my Father's Presidential Inauguration garden ceremony at his work. This dress was absolutely perfect: classy, conservative, yet fun! The color was absolutely brilliant, looked fantastic against my skin tone, and looks great in pictures. I loved the length (the dress hit right above the knee), and the bow at the waist was a lovely touch. It was a fabulous choice for the occasion!
