Tight in the waist.
Very voluminous skirt which felt weird....like I wasn't wearing pants at all. If it were shorter, I'd be worried about bending over at all. I rented the 12, but ended up wearing the 14 because the waist wasn't comfortable to sit or move in - very tight and fitted to contrast the full bottom. I changed into this dress for the reception because the fabric was much thicker and warmer for the outdoor venue.

Did not wear because the fit was odd. Small in the top and large in the bottom, not well suited for hourglass frames as it hung off my chest and made me look huge. The double lining was heavy and didn't feel comfortable for summertime.

True to size, liked the snug fit and give of the material. It was a bit long for my 5'3" frame and I tugged at it as I walked since it creeps up. Overall, it was right for the occasion and looked great, but I don't think I would rent again. #Birthday

Fun burst of color for a winter dress.
I wore this for a valentines dinner date in Chicago. Since I've got a shorter frame, I felt the sleeves were a little long and fussed with them throughout the night. I loved the color and long sleeves, so I didn't have to keep myself bundled in my coat all evening at the restaurant's open air patio. The dress was a little roomy and wasn't as fitted as the photos led me to believe.

Fun and unique daytime dress.
I rented this dress for a late-spring weekend out of town. My initial size 12 dress was damaged (zipper broken and stains on dress) so customer service offered to ship the replacement to my hotel the next morning. The dress was there at noon when I checked in. GREAT customer service experience!! Unfortunately, the backup size I received had a hem seam issue I'd read about on another RTR review for this dress in my size. I wore the dress to breakfast, but changed later in the day. This was the first time I've had multiple quality issues with the merchandise. Overall, I thought the dress was appropriate for the occasion. The neckline was a little high for my taste - that in addition to the quilted material made the dress feel warmer than it looks at first glance. Material is very thick.

This was a great, comfortable piece for our casual Thanksgiving at home.
I loved the feel of this material. It was a wider weave, so it breathed nicely and kept me cool while cooking and warm while taking photos outside. The pockets were a nice added feature for the day. I got several compliments on how comfortable, yet sophisticated this sweater looked and would be interested in purchasing it.

Modern Day Belle
I liked the fit of the skirt in this dress, but the bust was tight with all the ruching. Definitely needed help zipping up and I don't like how it smushed me all together. The waist fell at a weird spot for me since I do have a larger bust and kept trying to flatten or adjust it down all evening. It was nice, but I wouldn't recommend for curvy women and wouldn't rent again.

You need this dress in your life.
There are not words enough to describe this dress. I've always been hesitant to rent long dresses because of the length, but the stylist recommended the R for me and it perfectly grazed the floor in my 3.5" wedges. The dress it perfect to size and the slit is still modest when sitting down. I loved the cutout and felt this silhouette perfectly showed off my figure. I rented this for formal night on my birthday cruise. Would definitely rent again, if I don't buy it first.

Perfect dress for my birthday!
I rented this dress for a cruise, where the first formal night fell on my birthday. This dress was fun and flirty and definitely stood out among the other formal wear dresses along the promenade. I had several people compliment the fit and style of the dress. I loved the voluminous skirt on this dress and the short torso fit my petite frame really well. The pockets were a nice touch and allowed me not to have to carry a bag for my cruise card and spare lipgloss. Since the back is such a statement I didn't wear a bra with this, but the top was fitted enough for me to feel secure and still able to breathe comfortably. The material was pretty thick, but we were inside for most of the evening. I wouldn't recommend for a humid outdoor event.

I rented this necklace because it was photographed with the coral Trina Turk jumpsuit, which I also rented. The jumpsuit didn't work out but it paired just as well with my other rental. It's not too heavy and lays flat against the garment, making it appear like an incorporated decorative collar. Would rent again!

So classy - this jumper is on point!
I rented this jumpsuit for my brother's rehearsal dinner at the Cincinnati Art Museum the first weekend in May. The weather was expected to be chilly and I didn't want to freeze outside on the lawn in a mini dress. The fit of this jumper was perfect for my petite curvy frame and was structured enough that I felt very put together even without a bra. The deep cut of the straps would have shown straps. I did have to wear taller wedged shoes in order to keep the bottom hem off the floor - thank goodness my groomsman was tall. Compliments all evening on how stunning and radiant the color was! I would certainly rent another Trina Turk jumpsuit.

Perfect for a Red Carpet event!
RTR keeps getting better and better; this was my favorite dress so far (but I'm saying this every time)! Perfect balance of sexy/sophisticated for my debut as a member of the Board of Directors for our YP organization. The fit of this dress was beyond perfect and I was comfortable in it all night long. I'm assuming it was fairly new, as the lace was stiff and thick, so I couldn't lift my arms above me head (not that there was much of this happening anyway, but the under breast lace would also make this a bad idea). Wish I would have gotten a photo of the full lace back, it was amazing and I received compliments all evening. Went no bra and felt that the stiffness of the lace top provided enough support. Although the dress is lined, I did wear spanx underneath to tighten up and smooth out everything. I would certainly rent again or purchase when available.

Brilliant color and very well made
The lace on this dress was pretty worn compared to the other lace dresses I've rented this year, but the color was stunning and made me stand out in a sea of black dresses. Because of the open back, I wish the top provided a little more support or was tighter. The rest of the dress fit well but I had some extra room in the bust. I also rented the 14 as a backup, but the lining was sagging below the lace around the entire bottom hem of the dress and the top was way too big. I felt good and received several compliments but I think next time I'll go with something more structured.

Perfect accessory to my RTR dress!
I was so glad that I chose these to compliment my Milly dress! Unfortunately, Oscar de la Renta passed the week of my rental - but I was so glad I got to wear his stunning jewelry to the wedding and share his great work. These are clip-on's and were very heavy. I had to adjust them a few times throughout the afternoon due to how tight they clamp onto your ear.

Very well made dress
I rented this as a backup dress for an October wedding. The weather was much warmer than I'd expected and this dress has a thick layer of lining throughout. It's impeccably made and fit well but I ended up wearing my original choice. I would certainly recommend to others. Also, the skirt has some extra tulle to add more volume at the bottom, which I don't think the photos show well.

I felt like the best dressed girl at the wedding!
I wore this to a friends October wedding. I thought the lace sleeves were more appropriate in her conservative church setting but the fit still made me feel like a million bucks. The lace is relaxed and does have some give, contrary to the other comments about the sleeves being tight. Went without a bra, given the low cut back - so I had a little extra room in the top. Loved the color and received several compliments. Will definitely consider renting again! (paired with the Oscar de la Renta Etoile earrings) As always, the customer service was outstanding! Since this dress wasn't available in a larger size, I was sent a similar lace long sleeve backup dress. Thanks again to Brittany who made the recommendation.

Felt like a knockout all night
The dress was better than expected, and perfect for formal night on our cruise to the Bahamas. The boning and structure of the dress kept everything in nicely; no need for extra support on top. I will say that the light color and sheer material of the dress doesn't allow for anything but nude garments underneath, just as an FYI. The zipper on the 12 was tricky around the ruching, but the top on the 14 wasn't fitted enough. (forgive my face in the second photo - this was my first RTR experience and I was pumped)
