If you are curvier in the bottom but a bit smaller in the chest then I'd recommend the small instead of the medium. I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs for reference.

Loved this dress! I wore it wine tasting and was perfect for the day. The split in the front gave it extra fun factor and the straps are great as you tie them several different ways. Would definitely recommend. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and could have gone with either. The 6 was just a bit more loose.
