This was a backup dress when my original choice was too small. I thought this ran a bit big, but it wasn't excessively so. The neckline goes maybe half an inch to an inch lower than photographed, which gives it just the right amount of allure. The photographs of me are on someone else's phone (go figure), but it photographed on me exactly like the photographs on the website. The customer service I received in picking out a backup dress was OUTSTANDING, and hats off to the staff at RTR for not missing a beat and getting me ready for NYE.

I own a similar dress, so I had what to wear underneath, but I think your happiness with this dress depends on if you know what to wear underneath. I wore Spanx and an adhesive bra. A strapless bra might work too, but the way the sleeves almost have a "shrug" effect makes it tricky to wear a conventional bra underneath. Great dress, although I do agree with the reviewer who said it might be kind of a holiday dress.

These looked great and were absolutely the effect I was going for. They sure feel cheaply made when held in your hand, though. I'd rent again, but this line of jewelry doesn't seem like it's worth the market cost if I were to buy.
