I originally wanted the bright blue color of this same style but had to go with the red one because everyone else must've loved the blue too – sold out! I usually wear size 4, which I ordered as my backup. It was pretty tight, so I'm glad I had the 6, which fit like a glove. It makes me wonder if I could have even used the 8?! I expected the material to be a thick corded material, but it was smooth with a matte look. (Not sure if that makes any sense, but figured I'd share). Overall it was a dress that I felt great in and was the perfect amount of modest for meeting the boyfriend's family and friends for the first time. If I ordered again, I'd go with the blue, and probably get 8 as a backup size, though I'm thinking it'd be too long. Cons: It did ride up around my waist on occasion and was a little tight around the armpits which sometimes created not-so-flattering armpit fat if I wasn't paying attention. It was also a bit long for my liking (it hit right at the knees, I'm just under 5'3").

Absolutely perfect for my work holiday party, As mentioned in other reviews, the green layer is quite bright but perfectly balanced with the black lace. The black trim highlighted my waist in the perfect area and I was comfortable with the length (just above the knees) and the fit, which was snug without riding up at all. Would definitely recommend it to others!
